with swift movements, ni-ki quickly learns and got a grasp of the choreography. humming to himself, his moves were on beat. he was focused and dedicated as he looked at the mirror, clearly trying to spot flaws.
sure, he knew it wasn't his style. but it was a popular song, and the dance seemed fun to learn, so why not?
he was currently in the campus's dancing room and barely anyone used it except for ni-ki. it was spacious and just right to practice dancing.
the chorus comes as a smile is plastered on ni-ki's face. this part seemed to bring joy to him.
" ..if you, if you, if you love me or not, 궁금해 너의 맘.. "
the song continues playing as ni-ki continues dancing.
" ..boy, i ch-ch-ch-ch-cherish my love ( my love ) ~ "
a voice goes unnoticed by ni-ki as he immediately stops dancing and turns around.
lo and behold, there stood a kim sunoo who was leaning against the door, admiring ni-ki while he was dancing.
" speechless, partner? oh my, i hope my vocals were okay, haha. " sunoo laughs it off as ni-ki was blushing furiously yet again.
" i'm sorry, riki-san, for barging in like this. i really didn't know you danced, " sunoo continues. " but you're wonderfully good at it. i'm amused by your crazy good footwork. "
" s—sunoo hyung.. " ni-ki stutters as he scratched the nape of his neck. without hesitation, he runs to the side of the room and grabs a familiar blazer.
" here, i washed it. sorry for the inconvenience. " ni-ki says, pushing the blazer into sunoo's arms. he was unable to look at sunoo.
" thanks, but you don't have to be embarrassed haha.. i really appreciate you for washing the blazer as well. " sunoo smiles softly.
" let's do a duet together sometime! of course not as badminton rivals, okay? " sunoo giggles as he pats ni-ki's shoulder. sunoo looks at his watch, and then speaks up once more.
" oops, i have to go now. see you around! " sunoo then quickly leaves the room after waving goodbye to ni-ki.
" b—bye, sunoo hyung.. " ni-ki stumbles over his words as the door closes.
