The snow was falling from the sky, painting the ground white. The coldness in the air, the chill that clung to everything, was evident in the snow and Tanjiro's red nose. Yet, neither Hirae nor Nezuko could feel it, or perhaps they just didn't want to. They couldn't, not in that moment..𖥔 ݁ ˖🪐.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖🪐.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖🪐.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖🪐.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖🪐.𖥔 ݁ ˖

Hirae's blue eyes never left the sky, the snowflakes dancing under the blue expanse. She tried to distance herself from the corpses before her, forcing herself not to care. She had to be indifferent. She had to not care. Tanjiro and Nezuko—they were just two people she had crossed paths with.
When Tanjiro stood up, Hirae's gaze followed him, tracking the red-eyed boy who was trying to help his sister. The boy grabbed his sister's hand, looking at both of them as he said quietly:
"Let's go."
Hirae nodded curtly, her face a mask of stoic resolve, and she started walking ahead. Tanjiro glanced back one last time to bid farewell to his family before rushing to catch up with Hirae.
It would be a long journey. No one could know what the end would be. Would this be the beginning of a friendship, or the first step toward death?
