5 Things Girls Do When They Like a Guy

Alright, so if you saw the title, then you can see that I'm going to write about something slightly different than what I usually do. Okay, I've been doing a lot of this in the past week because, GUESS WHAT, I have a new crush! *pauses for applause* Let's call him Brandon, even though that's not his real name. So, I'll do this in a list style and provide as much info as I possibly can just in case you are one of those girls that wants to stop making things look obvious or if you are a random guy reading this and want to know what girls do when they like a guy!

1. Trying to get close to our crush

So, this one applies to a physical and emotional sense of closeness. You might notice that girl sitting near her crush at lunch or generally being found in the same area as her crush. I apparently did this a LOT and it made it really obvious to my friends that I didn't tell that I had a crush on Brandon. Also, they try to be friendly and do a lot of things with them when given the opportunity. I also did this... a lot. It wasn't so obvious to my friends in this case because I'm generally a pretty outgoing and flirtatious person.

2. Babbling on and on in his presence

Yeah okay, I know we all have our moments when we really just can't quite figure out how to shut up, but when a girl is crushing on someone, they do a lot of talking. Usually about themselves, but then they realize that they've been doing that and ask some random question about the weather right in the middle of telling the guy about how good her form is in high jump but her height isn't so great. I literally did this yesterday...

3. Trying really, really, really, really, really hard... like really hard

She's going to try to smell nice, look good, and act like she's pretty much the same person as you. I don't think I've personally done this for more than like 5 minutes at a time. I do the smell nice and look good part, but I have such a strong opinion on things that I can't pretend to like all of the same things that the guy likes. I actually find myself arguing with them about some really dumb things that I just happen to feel very strongly about. It's never like a fighting argument thing, but just a disagreement over chipotle or qudoba.

4. We always want to know what the guy is doing

When it came to free time at the camp I was just at, I always asked Brandon what he was doing every day during free time. I actually got dragged into going on a hike when it was super hot and I was wearing all black with a bathing suit underneath because he was going along. I ended up really liking it though because it was absolutely beautiful from the top of the tower we were in! But, we girls like to know what the guy is doing because we want in if we can get in.

5. We've always got a wing woman

She will always have a friend around when we are near the guy... Unless her friends made her go and talk to him alone... that seems to happen a lot to me. Anyways, she's always going to have someone to back her up when the conversation gets dull! Girls, that is my tip for you! Always have a friend around so that you can keep the conversation going strong!
