Instead of going home, Orm drove straight to a bar to meet her friends. She got inside, and they were already there waiting for her. Their drinks were also ready.

Upon arriving at the table, Namtan immediately raised her glass to her. "Oh, boss, have a drink first to cool down." She teased.

"Tsk."

"How was it?" Engfah asked who was sitting down in a manly way.

"Sucks." Orm said and just took a straight shot from the glass that Namtan gave her.

"You're getting married next week, so you should just chill now. Getting married to your first love who turns out to be a brat." Milk chimed in, and they all laughed.

Becky suddenly stopped laughing and turned her full attention to her. "But Orm, as your friend, I'm just worried. You know Lingling has a boyfriend, right?"

She nodded with a sighed.

"It's okay, she can just break up with her boyfriend who looks like a frog. Our friend here is still way more handsome." Namtan added.

"It's probably not that easy, though. Imagine, a sudden arranged marriage. I'm also worried for you, Orm. Because you might just get hurt in the process." Ying told her in a concerned tone.

Orm poured herself another drink and took a sip. "I'm still hoping she'll love me. Maybe this marriage is the way for that to happen. I'm happy to see her every day."

The friends looked at each other before turning back to her. "Don't worry, guys. Let's just trust Orm to make Lingling fall in love with her. Think about it, Orm has it all - kind, caring, hardworking, hot, beautiful, handsome. Where else can she find someone like that?"

"Guys, by the way, I have some girls coming over." Becky announced.

"What?!"

Just then, the girls entered and made their way to the table. Everyone stood up except for Orm, who was confused. "So guys, this is Freen, the girl I'm pursuing." Becky said, and the new arrivals started introducing themselves to each other.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Freen."

"I'm Charlotte."

"It's Yoko."

After introducing themselves, they all settled down and enjoyed their drinks while chatting. A while later, another friend arrived and walked straight to Orm, hugging her. "Woah, how's my friend who's about to get married?"

"I thought you couldn't make it?"

"Sorry guys, I finished work early, so I changed my mind. It's because my girlfriend is here." She said, walking over to Yoko.

"Hey, take it easy, Faye. Yoko's not going anywhere." Engfah teased.

While everyone are talking, Charlotte's lingering look was different, it held a hint of seduction. Engfah's teasing quickly shifted towards Orm. "Look at that girl, she's looking at you like she wants to swallow you whole." She whispered.

Orm glanced at the side and it was true, the woman's gaze was strange but she just ignored it and continued drinking. As the night went on, some of them started going to the dance floor, leaving only her and Charlotte behind. Namtan, on the other hand, had fallen asleep, looking quite drunk.

Orm was also feeling a little dizzy, so she leaned back on the leather couch. "You'll probably fall asleep if you stay in that position." Charlotte said, her eyes still fixed on her.

She cracked open an eye and smiled at her. "I'm okay."

"Don't you want to dance over there?"

Orm shook her head, glancing at her friends who were now making out, especially Engfah. "Just go with Engfah there, she seems to be out of it." She said with a laugh.
