Harry ran a hand through his hair one last time, studying his reflection in the mirror with a satisfied grin. Every hair was perfectly in place, though he knew that wouldn't last long.

Turning to Draco, his eyes sparkled with excitement. "Do we have everything?" he asked eagerly, patting his pockets as if to double-check. "And the present? You've got the present, right?"

The blond chuckled, a soft, affectionate smile curving his lips as he watched his partner's slightly frantic motions. "Yes, we've got everything," he assured, reaching over to smooth a stray lock of Harry's hair with gentle fingers. "And the present is right here." He patted the neatly wrapped package he held, and then he leaned in, pressing a warm kiss to Harry's lips. "You look gorgeous, by the way."

Harry's cheeks flushed, a mixture of happiness and anticipation brightening his face. Draco took his hand, and they crossed the room to the fireplace. A pinch of Floo powder later, they were swept into a swirl of green flames, landing gracefully on the familiar hearth of the Granger-Weasleys' cozy living room.

As soon as they stepped out of the fireplace, a small, delighted shriek echoed through the room. "Harry! Draco!" The voice belonged to Rose, who dashed toward them with uncontained enthusiasm, her face beaming. Before either of them could react, Draco scooped her up, lifting her high in the air before bringing her in for a tight hug.

"Happy, happy birthday, Rose!" He congratulates, his voice full of warmth as he looked into her wide eyes. "How does it feel to be five years old now?"

"It's super cool!" The girl declared with a laugh, her face lighting up with excitement. Her arms flung around his neck, and Harry couldn't help but smile at the sight.

Stepping aside for a moment, the dark-haired moved toward Hermione and Ron, who were bustling around, adding the final touches to the decorations. He greeted the woman with a quick hug before scooping up little Hugo, who was toddling around, his big brown eyes bright with curiosity. At three years old, Hugo was already a miniature of his parents, and Harry couldn't help but think he was one of the cutest children he'd ever seen.

"You're quite early," Hermione noted with a grin, setting a few more cups on the table as she glanced at them in surprise. "That's not very like you two."

"How could we be late to the princess's birthday?" Harry replied with a wink, his eyes full of affection as he watched Draco bend down to hand Rose the carefully wrapped present.

Her eyes sparkled with wonder as she took the gift, her small hands quickly tearing into the paper. She let out an excited gasp as she uncovered the wand nestled inside. It was delicately carved, an imitation wand that looked just like the real thing, but harmless. Her fingers traced over the polished wood with awe.

"Not a real wand, of course," Draco explained, smiling at her reaction. "But this way, you can start practicing early—before you become the best witch in the world."

Rose's face was a picture of pure joy, her eyes alight with excitement. "Thank you!" she squealed, wrapping her arms around both of them before dashing off to cast imaginary spells in the air, her laughter filling the room as she pointed the wand around with exaggerated gestures.

They all settled around the large table, sinking into the familiar warmth of the household. Ron, after pouring everyone a cup of tea, looked over at his friend with a grin. "So, how's work been?"

"It's been good," Harry replied, his smile widening. "Actually... I just got promoted to head of the Auror Office." The words were met with a chorus of cheers and congratulatory exclamations. Hermione clapped her hands in delight, and Ron slapped him on the back, his grin widening.
