"Remus!"

I run into his room,my dress flowing behind me

"Remus!Look!"

"What?" I hand him a note "you look nice"
"Thank you"
"who's it from"
"My boys back home"

"Victoria...your weddings in a week did something bad happen to them?" "No!just open the note" he looks down at it and unfold the bit of paper.

"Read it aloud"

"Remus Lupin you are invited to the wedding of Will,Gareth and Victoria" my smile grows "we were hoping that you would be a part of the wedding and do Vic the favour of walking her down the isle" he looks at me shocked and I just giggle.

"Well?what do you say?"  I ask with a nervous smile

"The boys thought it would be a good idea..But I'd understand if you don't want to do it"

"I say yes" 

"Yes?"

"Yes!"

"Ah yes!"
I hug him and he hugs me back holding us in a warm embrace.

"Sirius is obviously invited too"

"I'm sure he'll try his best to make it" Remus smiles at me.

"There was this man that I was close with when I was younger. I had thought he would be the one to walk my down the isle but he's dead...Even if he wasn't killed there is no way he'd be alive now"

"Who was it?Your father?"

"No...He was a Police officer"
Remus hums and nods.

"You look really nice tonight"

"Thank you,you look...Messy"

"Ouch" he acts offended

"No I mean...your top buttons are undone and your bow tie is just hanging there,you do know how to tie one right?" He shakes his head "No,can you help me" "of course I can"

"I used to tie Toms ties before meetings..." I look at Remuses eyes then step back "that is definitely something you don't want to hear while I am this close to you"

"What?"

"I just openly said I used to tie the dark lords ties before death eater meetings"

"We've spoke about this Victoria,and I know it wasn't you"
I smile at him "I know but it's probably just not the nicest thing to hear about" he smiles at me.
"Oh that's you done"

"Thank you"

"Oh your shaking,what's up?"

"Social events can be scary...And well it's only a few days till the last task everything is just so overwhelming"

"You are right social events can be scary. We'll be hiding in the corner away from everyone just gossiping,looking at all there outfit and drinking!"
"Victoria it's a high school ball" She winks "oh Remus I always come prepared"

"Okay this might be fun"

"Come on let's help Mcgonagall set up"

"Okay Victoria, I am right behind you"

Remus scans the room.

"Hermiones dress?"

"Yes!You are the king of this game" I chuckle "Merlin I think I might be drunk" "I think I might be a little too" we both burst out laughing.
