Lucy's Protector

"CHen, please go get the equipment, I need to do something with Gray" said Ambr as she went to the boss. Lucy nodded. She wrote that she picked up her weapons and got the bags on the table. She thanked the master and took one backpack over her shoulder, moaning a little more with the other. Her arm also hurt.
"Are you okay?" Ambr asked when she appeared at Lucy's. She felt her hand on their backs and took a sharp breath. "Yeah! Everything is perfectly fine" said Lucy, an octave higher than her Norman voice.
Amber just nodded and took the bodycam. Lucy went to put the equipment in the trunk, but as soon as she got out she moaned in pain again. "Lucy, what's wrong with you?" Ambr asked. "As I said, I'm fine, can we go out and catch criminals?" Lucy asked hesitantly.
Amber nodded because she knew there was no point in pressuring her now.

When they both returned from patrol, Lucy groaned in pain again as she picked up her bags. "Lucy, tell me what's wrong with you, otherwise I won't let you go home" Ambr pressed her.
"God, how many times are you going to ask me today!?" Lucy blurted out indignantly. Amber took it from her shoulder bag and placed it on the ground.
"Show me your hand" Ambr said pointing to her hand.
"I say I'm fine!" Lucy shouted. She wanted to leave but Ambr grabbed her wrist. Lucy immediately jumped away from her, was she afraid of her?
"Lucy.." Ambr said confused. She wanted to reach for her again but Lucy put her hand in front of her and moved further away from her.
"Just...don't do that, Amber...please" Lucy said with wet eyes.
Amber preferred to nod, she didn't want to scare her further, but she wanted to know what was happening to her. Lucy went to the dressing room to change. Amber knew it wasn't good to push her anymore.

When Lucy returned home later, Chris was waiting for her on the couch. "Hey , I'm sorry I'm late-" Lucy tried to explain, but Chris doesn't care.
"You're late again, you kept me waiting here..." said Chris and got up. "Whatever that might mean for our deal" Chris smiled as he stepped in front of Lucy.
Tamara heard it all from her room. She has an inkling of how it might turn out, so she has no choice but to call...ambr.

"Hi Amber, this is Tamara, I need you to come to Lucy right now, Chris is angry" Tamara explained quickly. "Wait what Tar? What are you talking about?" Ambr asked confused. "Fuck listen to me!"Ambr heard Chris yell and a loud bang. "I'll be right there, especially don't go after them, lock yourself in the room" said Ambr when she got up from the table where she was doing the paperwork. "I have to help Lucy Ambr...I can't leave her alone" whispered Tamara. "I get it Tar...but you have to be safe, Lucy is strong she will make it until I come ok? Stay in your room please" said Ambr as she got into her Jeep and started it. "Please quickly" said Tamara, by the way she sounded she helped Mabr know that it was an important situation.

"I'M NOT CHEATING ON YOU!" Lucy shouted as her strength was running low. She still had a couple of bruises, but according to Chris's anger, it's not just them that will make it go away.
"WHAT DO YOU SEE IN THAT DISGUSTING PIG HUH!? YOU CAN'T HOOK UP WITH GIRLS!" Chris roared and hit Lucy again.
"STOP!" Amber yelled in the doorway, gun in hand.
"Look who came, this bitch who thinks she can take over my girl!" Chris smiled. "I won't because this is how you took her yourself" Ambr said making dead eye contact with Chris.
"Then fight like a man if you want her!" Chris said breaking the glass. "IF YOU PULL OFF A SINGLE HAIR ON HER HEAD I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU UNDERSTAND!?" Amber shouted. Chris ran towards Amber and slammed her into the door. Amber moaned loudly at the sudden pain.
Once he fingered her in the face when Ambr kicked him to the ground. She kicked him once in the stomach to stop him from standing up so quickly. She put her hands behind his back and quickly cuffed him. She got up to spit out the blood that was pooling in her mouth. She came quickly to Lucy and grabbed her face. "Hey, hey, don't worry, I'm here, you're fine," Ambr soothed her when Lucy started to cry loudly.
"W-where..i-is Tamara?" Lucy asked between moans.
"She's in her room, she's fine, you're fine," Ambr reassured her. Lucy wrapped her arms around her waist tightly. Amber hugged her back and placed a quick kiss on the top of her head.
