Moving into a new neighbourhood is not always a fun thing. It's quite sad the fact you needed to leave your friend. We moved quite far away, new vibe, new place and new school. Talking about school, school will be started at next week. We are on the end of year holiday. I'll be in my second year of high school (eleventh grade).
I dont know if i'm excited or scared. I hope i can adapt and make new friends there. It'll be lonely if i have no friends.
I packed my last box and asked the moving agency guy to take my box. Im done with my packing and ready to leave. This is my childhood house, i have been here since i was a kid. This place is seven hours ish. To be exact, i'm from Otaru, and our destination is Miyagi. I have never been on Miyagi before, so i have no idea. I have looked it up before, so i know a bit. I will search more about it later, maybe when i'm on the way.
"Let's go!" Mom called, and i got the car. Dad is the one who's driving. "Everybody, please put your seatbelt on." talking about my family. I'm an only child. Currently, im 16 years old. My dad worked at nintendo. He's the engineer, and that's the reason we moved. There was another choice of city but we wanted the one closest with nature. We really enjoyed the village area more than the modern city light.
In the whole ride, i just looked at the window, enjoying the view, and so on. I don't know when i will visit this place again. I will miss this place.
After a while, i decided to take my earphones. I wanted to listen to music and sleep. It's tiring already. Luckily, we bring some snacks, we ate them to kill boredom. I love eating chips. I randomly have kitkat as well, i really love eating kitkat. After a while i started to feel more comfortable here and drifted to sleep.
Time Skip - Few Hours Ahead
I woke up from my nap and realised we were six hours away from the destination. We decided to get some break and go to the food shop to eat. Everyone stretched after going out of the car, well not wrong. All of my body is numb. Tired from sitting down for six hours or something, we still got another six hours of ride, though. The place is far away. We decided to stop for lunch.
My stomach is empty, and i need food. It was a small ramen shop. We looked at the menu and ordered some drinks as well. After waiting for a bit, the food arrived. It smells really good. I said thank you when she handed us our meals. "Let's eat!" I excitedly said as we ate. The food is really good, I thought while maybe dumping my whole head to the food.
We are really full. We decided to wait a bit to chill before going back to the car. We paid and got into the car. Ahh, we're so full. I decided to use my phone and searched more about this place, i think my high school is called "Karasuno." i decided to look that up as well. The school is quite famous with the volleyball, they're not that bad.
I decided to open my tiktok scroll through the for you page to find some entertainment. It's kinda boring right now, i dont have anything to do.
After maybe an hour or more of scrolling, my phone batteries are low. I looked for my cable and plugged it into the plug on the car. That's another thing why i love this car. I decided to look for my high school on tiktok, and they do have a tiktok account. There are only 2 videos, and they're both only showing the school facilities. Well, tiktok imjust launched not so long ago, so mo wonder.
We're 4 hours away from our destination. We started our journey at dawn around 5 a.m., and we will arrive around 5 p.m. since it needs 12 hours. It doesn't sound that long. We are only 4 hours ish away.
After a few hours of ride, we finally arrived at our neighbourhood. The places are more modern than my hometown. It's still fresh, lots of trees and not so much of a car. There is not much pollution. I take a deep breath, enjoying the breeze. I stretched as i walked, stretching away from the numb of the ride.
Our belongings arrived as estimated. We dont have to unpacked ourselves since the workers are the ones who would do it as well. So we just need to give instructions. Our important stuff is in our own car. We dont really have much important stuff. Since all of the stuff are still insidethe wardobe and so on, i dont really need to tidy them up. They are still as they are.
