Today is the first day of school. Not only i turn into eleventh grader (2nd year of high school), but it's also a first day in a new school. There were 3 classes in each grade: classes 1, 2, and 3. Kageyama and Hinata are in class 3, and i hope we will be in the same class. By that, i will already at least know someone.
Right now, im still sitting on my dining table, munching on my breakfast. It's currently 6.10 am and school starts at 7.00. i still have quite a lot of time. Walking from home to school took me about 15 minutes only. Kageyama, hinata, and i planned to go to school together. We will meet at our usual meeting point at 6.40 and by that we will arrive at 6.55. The 15 minutes are like a very slow walk. It's when you take a small step and pause every step to look around. If we walk normally, probably only around 10 minutes. Not to mention there's a shortcut for walkers only.
It's already 6.33 am, and i decided to go outside and look for Kageyama. We agreed we gonna start walking at 6.35 am but better be early than late. Not even a mili second after, Kageyama also goes out of his house. I greeted him, and he just nodded at me. He's back to his so known cold Kageyama. He lowkey gave me too much mixed signal.
Lwts just forgot about that. Talking about on time turned out, we are both the type of people who hated being late. We decided just to walk slowly so we won't be waiting too long on the meeting point like a fool.
"Are you excited?" Kageyama asked out of the blue. I think for a while. "In between. Im excited and scared, " i reolied while chuckling. He just looked at me and nodded. We just walk without saying anything else.
Kageyama POV
I lowkey feel bad the fact i keep quiet and not saying anything. I realised she wanted to break the silence, but she's scared she might make me feel uncomfortable. For maybe once, i decided to break the silence between us. I totally have no idea what to ask and asked the most basic thing, "Are you excited?" I asked, and she replied. I just nodded my head. I also heard her chuckle. It was so cute. Everything about her is cute. For some reason, maybe she has grown a bit in me. I dont find her as a threat, but i believe i still need more time to know how she really reacts. We basically just met around a week ago.
After a bit more walking, we finally arrived at the meeting point. It's 6.38 a.m., and Hinata was already there jumping and waving at us.
This kid never ran out of energy. I thought. What a pain in the ass. We fastened our walk and went to hinata. Not taking a lot of time, we just started to walk to our school.
Hinata and her seemed to get closer and closer each day. They looked like having so much fun by themselves. In fact, they left me behind. I decided to butts in. I separated them by walking in between them,showed them my whatever face, and stayed that way.
Am i feeling jealous?
Ah, no. Im just feeling left out.
End of Kageyama POV
The three of us walked together. Since this is the school area the walking area is slightly bigger than usual and there aren't many cars or motorcycles yet. We arrived at 6.51 am. since we walked pretty fast.
They decided to go to their classroom, and now im left alone. I kinda lost since i dont know where I should i head to. I felt a tap on my shoulder, looking back, and i saw Kageyama was still with him. I thought they had left me alone.
"You seemed lost. Where do you need to go?" Said Kageyama, "well it said i needed to go to the vice principal office." Kageyama nodded understanding. "Follow me." he said, and i did as told. It wasn't that far from the entrance. Kageyama led me to a room with glass, i mean, it looked obvious, plus there was a tag that indicated that was the vice principal office.
I knocked at the door frame and waited for response before going inside. It doesn't take that long since they already prepare everything. They handed me my books, my schedule, and a bag goodies (just a totebag with the school logo, name, and so on), I accepted and put the book inside of the goodie bag i got. I got out of the office and headed to my classroom. Talkinv about class, ifeel like God heard my prayer. By that, i mean, i'm in one class with Kageyama and Hinaga
When i got out of the office, i looked around and didn't spot Kageyama. I thought Kageyama had left. Well, he doesn't really have a reason to wait for me, too, though. I dont know why i'm feeling down. I already saw my schedule earlier and asked for the direction. I was just walking until i felt a hand trying to take my bag out of my hand.
I was shocked, and i looked at the person and saw Kageyama. I was happy at that moment, i dont even know why, but his existence made me really happy for some reason. Yeah, i may have already grown much more attached to him than i realised.
We walk to our classroom together. There were 2 seats left on the window side (the window was on the left). The tables were all seated two with two. I asked Kageyama which one he would want, but he just waited for me until i picked which one would i want. Since i dont mind sitting near the window or not, i picked the right one and left Kageyama with a seat next to the window.
1 more minutes before the bell rang.
*Bell Ring*
The teacher came to the class and announced if there was a new student whom everyone already knew, but no one other than these two hadn't known my name. The teacher called me i front to give a simple introduction. My name, my age, where i was from, my hobby, and liking.
After that, there was a small QnA, the question are just like, "Why do you move here?" Or something like,"How did you know about this school?" Around that and not that much. After finishing the small QnA, i went back to my seat. I could feel some galance from the other girls, but i may know or dont know why.
The lessons here are not that different, it does have different but not so much. I was the top student in my old school. And the lesson just continues. There's not much in it.
Finally, the bell rang again. It's break time. I decided to go to the vending machine i saw earlier and wanted to buy something. On my way there, the girls suddenly came to me and said i was stealing them. They called me whore and i probably give Kageyama spell thats why he wanted to sit with me and be with me, they said i looked uglier than a dog shit. I didn't care about them. I just ignored them until they started to get violent.
They were about to hit me, and i just stayed in place. Little did they know i'm a black belt at karate, taekwondo, jiujutsu (or whatever you wanted to be), one chop, and i can make them cry. The hand that i was waiting to hit me didn't get into me. I looked up and saw their hand was being held by Kageyama.
"Dont mess with her." He said with the deadliest glare ever. The girls were frightened and pissed but they just left. I thanked him. Instead of asking how am i doing, he yelled at me, saying how stupid am i. "Why dont you asked for help or ran away? Are you going to let them hit you?" He asked angrily. I just chuckle at his reaction, and now his face is red. "It's okay. "I can do self-defense, i'm a black belt, so those punches are nothing," i said, laughing even louder. He hummed. "Whatever, but if they're bothering you, let me know." I dont think he needed to say that, though. After the incident, he was always around my side, but he basically never left me alone unless i needed to go to the toilet. Except during the school hours, he even eaited outside the toilet door. I dont know why he did that. I'm happy he did. He still has his grumpy, cold face, though.
Time Skip - School Ended
Finally, school has ended. Kageyama and Hinata invited me to the school sports hall, where the volleyball court at. We were in front of the door and they opened the door for me and i saw the inside. It was very motivating.
