Earlier~
I woke up to the sound of my phone notifying that I got a new message. I got up and saw that I had a text from Dominick and a voicemail from an unknown number. I smiled at the text my boyfriend of 5 months saying good morning and how he was going to pick me up soon to spend time.I quickly sent him a reply and went on to the voicemail.Curious,I clicked on it and put the device to my ear to hear the slow, raspy, voice that sent rush fear through me. The voice of someone I didn't want to hear ever again.
"Hello Isabel,haven't talked in a long time huh?I never forgot about you .Meet me at the Starbucks down the street from the place I work. You remember where that is right? Thought so. Meet me there at sharp noon. I'll be waiting. Tell anyone about our little meeting, chat, or fail to show up I can tell you one thing. I know your secret and I'm not afraid to tell your little boyfriend."
The phone beeped saying the voicemail ended.
