After concluding and explaining my past, we sat there in silence. He finally spoke once a couple of minutes had passed.
"Let me hear the voicemail."
"No." I said sternly.
He sighed. "Look Isabella,I don't want this guy to hurt you more than he already has. Just let me listen to the voicemail so I can decide how important this matter is and what actions we need to take to keep you safe."
I handed him my phone, letting him do what he needs. Once he listened to the message he went into a deep thought. "I'm coming with you." He stated abruptly.
"Ha, no." I said sarcastically laughing.
He didn't budge.
"I'm coming with you to meet him and that's final."
I groaned, I couldn't let him come. It would make Jason furious.
He laughed and kissed my cheek.
"When do we leave m'lady?"
"Probably tomorrow, let me call my parents and buy the tickets. And you should tell your parents that you're leaving the country." I said standing up and dragging him up with me.
He nodded in approval. I called my parents and they told me to go, be careful, and to to start digging my self out this drama once for all. I rolled my eyes at the last comment and sat back down on the bed. Searching planes that were flying to Toronto. I printed out all the information as Dominick came back and sat next to me. I put my laptop to the side and cuddled up to his, thin, but muscular body looking up at him. His head dropped to the crook of my neck and started to kiss my shoulder blade leading it's way to my jawline. Suddenly, he stopped.
"You know? You really don't have the body of a mom." He smirked at me cheekily.
I knew he was just trying to make me feel better, but I couldn't help, but think that I'm not actually a mom though. I tried not to cry, but a tear fell and then another one.
Dominick looked up, "hey I'm sure she's in a better place. I know you miss her, but first, we need to get to Canada, avenge Chlöe'a death by putting that bastard behind bars." I simply nodded and told him the plan.
" My parents said it's cool and I didn't tell them about your past or why we're going. Simply, because I don't want them to judge you. " he told me.
He just slept over and we got on a Red Eye the next morning. We settled into the pike of fluff in our room in the hotel and dozed off with me cuddled into the sides of Dominick and his arms secured around me.
