ᴊᴀʀʀᴇʟʟ - ɪʏɪᴏʟᴀ ғɪsʜᴇʀ

Adejare Adeoti had to be the most dramatic girl I've ever met, no cap. She was even more dramatic than Dandelion. With the way she was seated sideways on her chair, her head tilted back so it's resting on the wall and her ice-cold eyes never leaving mine.

She looked like she was ready to kill me with the way she was staring at me. She looked as if she was given the opportunity, she'd stab me to death without hesitation.

Why?

Because I was paired with her on a freaking Biology assignment.

I don't even know what I did to offend the girl, and why she kept glaring at me like this. I've tried to be friendly with her. I've tried to be polite but it's not just working. I don't know what else to do.

I wondered how it was that I was just noticing her if she had been Dandelion's friend since last year. And I wonder how she and Dandelion were able to be friends. Their characters are not so different, but Dandelion does not seem like the kind of girl who would move around with someone as snobbish as Adejare.

"Jay Jay!"

The playful holler snapped my attention back to the class, making me drag my eyes from Adejare at last. There's only one person who would shout my name like that without caring that we were in the classroom.

Oba made his way towards my seat, a smug smile on his face and a little bounce in his step. I raised a brow, a small smile forming on my face as I wondered what could have happened to put him in such a good mood.

"How far nah, my gee?" I grinned at him as he made himself comfortable on my desk.

"You sabi that fine girl wey dey sit in my front? That girl wey I been wan follow talk?" he asked, a huge grin forming on his face and eyes sparkling as he waited for my answer.

"I sabi am. Wetin sup?" I asked, but I had a feeling of where this conversation was headed. My eyes strayed from him to Adejare.

She had her textbook out now like she was already reading what she wanted to present. She didn't seem like she would come to me and talk about what we could present together so I guessed I'd just have to swallow my own pride and go to her.

"Why are you looking at her?"

My eyes snapped back to Ola, and I feigned indifference. I shrugged. He shot me a suspicious look and wagged his finger at me before turning around and walking off.

I got off my chair and walked to her, grabbing the chair at the front of her table and turning it around so it was facing her. I took a seat and smiled. "Hey."

Her gaze rose up and she stared at me with the same ice cold eyes. She raised a brow, as if she was asking me what the fuck I wanted, without actually asking it.
