"...Hey we never actually slept together on your bed that's weird right?" Hoppy Hopscotch, said as her head was laid on Bobby's lap. They were both in the living room alone on the couch and the time was about to turn to midnight. Bobby, the red bear with pink paws, had a slightly puzzled look on her face as she stroked Hoppy's fur.

"Huh... wow never actually noticed that," Bobby chuckled, her gentle strokes slowing down as she thought for a moment. "But you know, it's not about where we sleep, it's about who we're with." Her voice was as warm as a fresh cup of cocoa, a stark contrast to the cool evening breeze wafting through the slightly open window.

"That's so cheesy...I love it." Hoppy grinned, nuzzling closer to Bobby. The scent of Bobby's shampoo filled her nostrils, a comforting blend of berries and vanilla that was uniquely hers. Despite her outward bravado, Hoppy cherished these quiet moments with Bobby, when she could let her guard down and just be herself.

Bobbys' eyes gleamed with mischief. "Careful now, I might just take that as a challenge." She leaned in, whispering into Hoppy's ear. "But back on our original topic, we could sleep in my bed tonight." Her voice was as soft as a feather, sending shivers down Hoppy's spine.

"Alright, deal," Hoppy exclaimed, bouncing slightly on the couch. Her excitement was palpable, and Bobby couldn't help but smile at the rabbit's childlike enthusiasm. It was moments like these that made Bobby's heart swell with affection for the energetic soul that was her girlfriend.

"Alright cool...and scoop!" Bobby playfully picked up Hoppy, cradling her in her strong arms. Hoppy...was honestly surprised. She didn't know Bobby was that strong. The bear's strength was surprisingly gentle yet firm, almost like a hug.

"How the- since when were you-" Hoppy's protests were cut short by a fit of laughter as Bobby carried her down the hallway towards the bedroom. leaving Hoppy a flustered mess with her ears down. She couldn't believe Bobby had just scooped her up that easily.

"Oh you're just so cute when you're like this," Bobby teased, her eyes sparkling with delight.

"S-shut up," Hoppy sputtered, her face was red as a ripe tomato. Bobby's gentle laughter only made her more embarrassed, but she couldn't help the smile that was tugging at the corners of her mouth.

"So what does your room even look lik-Oh my god..." Hoppy's voice trailed off as Bobby pushed open the door to her bedroom. The sight before her was something she had never expected. It was a veritable Squishmallow jungle, with plush animals of all shapes and sizes sprawled across every available surface. The bed looked like it had been swallowed by a giant pink octopus, with tentacles of softness reaching out to the floor.

"Bobby...how and why do you have so many of these?" Hoppy Hopscotch's voice filled the room with pure astonishment as she took in the sea of plush creatures that had invaded Bobby Bearhug's personal space. The sight was overwhelming, a veritable Squishmallow tsunami that had swept through the room, leaving no surface untouched by their squishy embrace.

Bobbys face lit up with a mischievous grin as she looked at the Squishmallow mountain. "Squishmallow supremacy," she declared proudly, her paws gesturing dramatically to the squishy army that surrounded them. Hoppy's eyes grew wider, her astonishment only growing as she took in the full extent of Bobby's collection.

"How do you even move around in here?" Hoppy managed to ask, her voice a mix of amazement and amusement. She couldn't imagine trying to navigate through this squishy minefield in the dark.

"Oh simple I just...roll over them," Bobby chuckled, setting Hoppy down on the bed which had been cleared of the squishy critters. The mattress was surprisingly firm beneath the plush barricade. "I can't sleep without them," she admitted, a slight blush creeping into her cheeks. "They're like my little friends, you know? so i'm never alone."

Hoppy couldn't help but smile at Bobby's admission. "That's actually pretty sweet," she said, her voice genuine. Despite her cocky exterior, she found the bear's childlike love for the Squishmallows endearing. She was also sinking into the cushion like dear lord, it was heavenly.

"You think so?" Bobby's eyes sparkled with excitement, her blush deepening. "You can pick one to snuggle with tonight, if you want," she offered, gesturing to the plush creatures that lined the edges of the bed.

"You I want you," Hoppy said playfully to Bobby, And damn I can't even roast her that was smooth as silk. Bobby actually blushed harder if that was even possible. She knew she couldn't resist that kind of charm and she didn't want to. So she laid down and kissed Hoppy's cheek, "See got the best one." Hoppy said with a cheeky grin, wrapping her arms around Bobby's neck and pulling herself closer.

The room was bathed in the soft glow of the fairy lights Bobby had strung up around her bed. The Squishmallows looked like they were watching them, their beady eyes twinkling in the dim light. Hoppy felt a bit self-conscious under their gaze, but Bobby's presence was soothing. They laid there for a moment, the silence only broken by their steady breaths and the occasional giggle from one of them.

"Night-night," Bobby whispered, her voice a gentle rumble as she pulled the blanket over them, her arms wrapping around Hoppy's waist. The rabbit's heart thumped against her chest like a drum.

"Yeah...night," Hoppy murmured, her heart racing as she nestled into Bobby's embrace. The warmth of the bear's body was comforting, and the smell of her shampoo had only grown stronger in the confined space of the bed. Bobby's arms were like a cozy blanket, holding her tight without smothering.

As they both closed their eyes, the room grew quiet, save for the distant sound of crickets outside. The fairy lights cast a warm glow on the ceiling, creating a mesmerizing pattern of shadows. The Squishmallows looked on from their various perches, a silent guard of plush companions. Despite the oddness of the situation, a sense of peace washed over Hoppy. She felt...safe.

Bobbys' breath grew even and deep, her arms tightened around Hoppy slightly, pulling her in closer. Hoppy could feel the steady rise and fall of Bobby's chest beneath her cheek. The rhythm was calming, lulling her into a sense of security she hadn't felt in a long time. As she drifted off to sleep, her mind was filled with the sweetness of Bobby's gentle touch and the soft whispers of the Squishmallows around them.
