Soon they drifted into sleep as they were tired of working for a long day .

---

The next day, Abhimaan and Anaya arrived at the office together. Anaya was still nervous about working as Abhimaan's assistant, unsure of what to expect. As they stepped into the building, she looked around, taking in the environment while trying to keep up with Abhimaan's fast pace.

Just as they were about to reach Abhimaan's cabin, a man in his early thirties approached them with a bright smile and a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"Arre, yeh toh hamari bhabhi hain! Pranam bhabhi" he exclaimed, chuckling as he winked at Abhimaan.

Anaya looked startled and glanced at Abhimaan, unsure of how to respond. Abhimaan shot his friend a cold stare, making it clear that his comment wasn't appreciated.

"Raj, yaha Anaya meri assistant hai got it be professional ," Abhimaan said sternly, his gaze icy. "Koi bakwas karne ki zaroorat nahi."

Raj raised his hands in mock surrender, trying to hide his grin. "Arre bhai, bas mazak kar raha tha," he said, but his eyes still sparkled with amusement as he turned to Anaya. "Nice to meet you, Anaya."

Anaya smiled politely, feeling slightly awkward but appreciating the friendly demeanor of Raj, unlike Abhimaan's usual seriousness. After a brief exchange, Abhimaan gestured for her to follow him to his cabin, his expression unreadable.

Once inside, he handed her a small stack of files. "Yeh sab sort kar ke mujhe do," he instructed, keeping his tone clipped and formal. "Aur apne Kam par Dhyan do Tum yahan kaam karne aayi ho, bakwas karne nahi."

Anaya felt her cheeks flush, a mixture of embarrassment and irritation. She clenched her jaw, holding back a retort, and simply nodded. "Ji," she replied quietly, taking the files and sitting down at the corner desk he had assigned to her.

As she started working, Raj reappeared at the door with a few more papers, flashing her a friendly smile. "Apko abhi abhi kaam pe lagaa diya gaya hai aur itna sara kaam already," he joked lightly, casting a quick glance at Abhimaan before focusing back on her.

Anaya couldn't help but smile back. "Hmm ," she replied, her tone a bit lighter.

Raj leaned against the doorframe, engaging her in a bit more conversation, and Anaya felt a bit more at ease talking to him. But as they laughed softly, she noticed Abhimaan's expression turning stormy, his jaw tightening as he watched them. She suddenly felt the intensity of his gaze and glanced away, her heart skipping a beat.

Abhimaan's possessive jealousy flared, though he struggled to understand why. Just watching her talk so freely with Raj brought an unsettling feeling, one he wasn't used to dealing with. He clenched his fists slightly, his gaze hardening as he forced himself to focus on his work.

After a while, Anaya felt thirsty and looked toward Abhimaan. "Woh... mujhe thoda paani chahiye, and bottle main hai nahi kaha se fill karu ?" she said hesitantly, not wanting to disrupt his work but unsure if there was water in the cabin.

Abhimaan glanced at her, his expression unreadable "water cooler is outside my cabin on the left fill it from there ," he replied, his tone dismissive.

Anaya nodded and got up, heading out of the cabin with her empty bottle. As she made her way to the cooler, she noticed a young boy trying to reach the tap but struggling because he was too short. Smiling at his cute efforts, she walked over to him.

"Hey cutie, let me help you," she said gently, bending down to reach the tap for him. She filled his small bottle and handed it to him.

The boy's face lit up with gratitude, and he quickly gave her a hug, wrapping his tiny arms around her. "Thank you, didi!" he chirped happily before planting a small, innocent kiss on her cheek.

Anaya felt warmth spread through her heart, smiling as she patted his head. "It's okay, cutie," she replied, watching as he happily ran off with his water bottle. She then filled her own bottle and headed back to the cabin, still smiling from the adorable interaction.

Meanwhile, Abhimaan, who had decided to follow her out of the cabin out of curiosity, had witnessed the entire scene from a distance. His fists clenched as he saw the little boy kiss her cheek, an unfamiliar wave of jealousy hitting him hard.

"Yeh chota sa ladka Anaya ko kiss kar raha hai?" he muttered to himself, an irrational possessiveness rising within him. "Uske paas sirf mera haq hai. Woh sirf meri hai."

Realizing the absurdity of his own thoughts, he shook his head in frustration. "Kya ho raha hai, Abhimaan? Pagal ho gaya hai kya? Tujhe toh Anaya se pyar nahi karna hai," he murmured, trying to push away the feelings that seemed to be getting stronger with each passing moment. Disconcerted by his own emotions, he quickly returned to his cabin before she could notice he'd been watching her.

When Anaya walked back in, Abhimaan was already seated, his expression neutral once more as he continued with his work, though he couldn't completely hide the lingering tension in his jaw.

Anaya, oblivious to his inner turmoil, resumed her work quietly, trying to focus on her tasks. However, she noticed that Abhimaan seemed distracted, occasionally glancing in her direction, as if struggling with his own thoughts. The day passed with an unspoken tension between them, each too preoccupied with their own emotions to fully understand the shifting dynamics between them.

Later, as they prepared to leave, Abhimaan couldn't shake the images of Anaya laughing with Raj and that little boy's innocent kiss. He knew his reactions were irrational, but the jealousy gnawed at him, pushing him toward feelings he had spent so long resisting. a sense of protectiveness he couldn't fully explain settling deep within him.
Then they reach the parking area he opened the gate for her and said " sit inside "
She nodded and sit beside her then abhimaan also came sat on the driver seat and started driving
" seat belt peahen lo"he said & she nodded and wear it .
Later on After sometime
Abhimaan was driving he saw a huge traffic Jam so he thought to take a shortcut do he took another road for reaching the mansion but when he just took a turn towards the another road he saw a car standing in front of
The road and a men standing outside with his arms folded and a smirk on his face .
Abhimaan saw him and his face instantly changed a little bit of fear occurred on him due to Anaya with her
He muttered " damn it "
Anaya also saw the person standing in front of the road
She got shocked and goosebumps appeared on her she tighltly held the edge of her dupatta .

Then suddenly a message appeared on abhiman's phone from a name Samrat Yadhuvanshi and it was
" you have something of mine and I am here to take it "
