Anaya felt her heart racing as she gripped her dupatta tightly, her mind spiraling with questions and fear. She glanced over at Abhimaan, his expression steely and protective, but the presence of Samrat Yadhuvanshi filled her with dread.
"Samrat... yaha kya kar raha hai?" she whispered, her voice shaky. "Ye sab... meri zindagi mein ye kya ho raha hai, Abhimaan?"
Abhimaan's gaze darkened, the intensity in his eyes unreadable. "Stay in the car, Anaya," he ordered firmly. "And whatever happens, don't come outside. I need you safe, and I don't want any distractions."
Anaya nodded, gripping her dupatta even tighter as Abhimaan stepped out of the car, his shoulders squared, each step brimming with purpose. She watched through the windshield as he approached Samrat, who stood waiting with a self-satisfied smirk.
"Well, well, well. Kaha se aa rahe ho, Abhimaan?" Samrat taunted, folding his arms with an arrogant air.
Abhimaan didn't waste time with pleasantries. "Let's get to the point, Samrat."
Samrat chuckled, tilting his head with a knowing look. "Straight to the point, huh? Good, I like it. So here's the deal-YOUR wife, Anaya," he said with a mocking emphasis.
Abhimaan's eyes narrowed dangerously. "Anaya Abhimaan Singhania," he corrected, his tone laced with icy finality. "She belongs to me."
Samrat smirked, unbothered by Abhimaan's darkening expression. "Oh, I know who she is, Abhimaan. Shaadi humari honi thi. But she was taken from me... unfairly." He leaned closer, his voice a low growl. "And now I'm back to take what's mine."
Without a word, Abhimaan reached into his pocket and drew out his gun, pressing it against Samrat's forehead. "If you want to leave here alive, Samrat, you'll shut your mouth and stay far away from Anaya. She's mine, and I won't let anyone near her."
From the car, Anaya gasped as she saw the gun in Abhimaan's hand, her heart pounding in fear for both of them. Ignoring Abhimaan's instructions, she stepped out of the car, rushing forward.
"Abhimaan! Please, don't do this!" she cried, her voice trembling. She reached his side, hoping to calm him.
Abhimaan shut his eyes briefly, clearly frustrated. "Anaya, get back in the car. Now."
But before she could respond, Samrat's gaze fell on her. He tilted his head, a twisted smile forming on his face. "Ah, Miss Anaya herself. Long time, no see."
Abhimaan's voice was firm, barely holding back his anger. "Anaya, I said get back in the car."
She began to retreat, following Abhimaan's instruction, but as she neared the car, a deafening blast tore through the air-the car exploded in flames, the blast throwing her backward. Abhimaan lunged forward, pulling her against him, shielding her from the impact as debris scattered around them.
The air was thick with smoke, the roar of the flames mixing with Anaya's terrified sobs as she clung to Abhimaan. He held her close, his protective embrace shielding her from the chaos, his expression a mix of fury and fear.
As the smoke cleared slightly, Samrat took a step forward, clapping slowly, his voice mocking. "What a beautiful display of love, Abhimaan. And this is only the beginning," he sneered, his gaze shifting to Anaya, who was still shaking in Abhimaan's arms. "Don't cry, Anaya. Save those tears. Because when I have you, you'll be shedding plenty more."
Abhimaan tightened his hold on her, his jaw clenched as he glared at Samrat, a silent promise of vengeance burning in his eyes. "This ends here, Samrat," he said in a deadly calm voice. "Touch her again, and I won't show mercy."
Samrat just smirked, a glint of cruel satisfaction in his eyes as he backed away, his message clear. He had declared war on Abhimaan, and Anaya was at the heart of his twisted plans.
As he disappeared into the shadows, Abhimaan pulled Anaya close, whispering fiercely, "I will protect you, no matter what. This isn't over, but I swear, I won't let him near you again."
Anaya, still trembling from the ordeal, felt a strange comfort in his words, knowing that he would go to any lengths to keep her safe.

Hey everyone!
I wanted to reach out and say I'm really sorry for today's shorter update. I know many of you were looking forward to a longer chapter, but with work keeping me busier than expected, I wasn't able to give it the length and depth it deserves. I absolutely love bringing these characters and their stories to life for you, so it's always my goal to make each update full and satisfying.
I appreciate your patience and understanding as I work to balance everything. I'll do my best to make the next update a longer one to make up for it. Thank you for your incredible support and encouragement - it means a lot to me! Stay tuned for more soon.
With all my love,
