Louis Tomlinson's life had officially gone from insane to downright ridiculous. With One Direction's fame skyrocketing, there was a new album on the way and a massive tour about to kick off. He could hardly walk down the street without being recognized, and it was exactly the kind of madness he'd always wanted.

But as he sat in his hotel room that night, basking in the glow of yet another sold-out show, he realized there was something—someone—missing. He hadn't spoken to Savannah in ages. His best mate, his partner in crime, his certified pain-in-the-arse from Doncaster.

He smirked, already picturing her reaction when she heard from him. She was probably off at uni, studying or doing whatever it was people who weren't on their way to global stardom did. She'd kill him for waiting this long, but he figured he'd make it memorable. He grabbed his phone and fired off a quick text.

Louis:
Oi, Sellers. Bet you thought I forgot about ya, didn't ya?

The message was sent at exactly 3:02 AM.

Louis chuckled to himself. If he knew anything about Savannah, it was that she absolutely despised mornings—especially early ones. And especially ones interrupted by him.

Five minutes later, his phone buzzed. A series of increasingly angry texts lit up his screen.

Savannah:
Louis Tomlinson, are you taking the piss?
3 AM?! Are you out of your goddamn mind?
I'm blocking you, you absolute knobhead.

Louis was laughing so hard he nearly dropped his phone. Oh, he'd missed this. He typed back quickly, knowing she'd be fuming.

Louis:
Aww, come on, Sav. I thought you'd be thrilled to hear from me.

Savannah:
At 3 in the bloody morning?! You're lucky I don't drive to wherever you are and throttle you.
This better be important, Tomlinson.

Louis:
Relax, diva. Just wanted to remind you that your best mate's a superstar now.
You know, thought you might wanna congratulate me.

Her response came so fast he could practically see her fingers jabbing the screen.

Savannah:
You woke me up at 3 AM for THIS?!
I swear, Louis, fame's gone straight to that thick head of yours.
And in case you forgot, you've always thought you were a superstar. This isn't news.

He grinned, leaning back against his pillows, fingers flying over the keys.

Louis:
Yeah, but this time, it's for real. Proper rockstar sht. Album, tour, the whole lot.*

He could almost hear her groan through the screen.

Savannah:
Well, congrats on living your dream, but did you have to text me about it in the middle of the bloody night?

Louis:
It's not just any night. This is rockstar hours, babe. Get used to it.

Her next message was three middle-finger emojis, 🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼followed by,"Rockstar or not, you're still a pain in the arse."

Louis laughed out loud. It felt like old times, as if they were still back in Doncaster, winding each other up on her front porch after a long day.

After a few minutes, she texted again.

Savannah:
Alright, superstar. So, what's next for you? Besides annoying me, obviously.

Louis:
Funny you should ask, he replied. We're gearing up for a world tour. Gonna be big—stadiums, screaming fans, all that madness. And I was thinking... maybe you should come along for a bit. You know, get a taste of the "One Direction effect."

The typing bubble appeared, paused, then disappeared. Then came her response.

Savannah:
Wait, are you serious? You want me to come on tour?

Louis:
Course I am! Who else is gonna keep me grounded? The lads are great, but none of them are as good at calling me out on my sht as you are.*

There was a long pause. Louis could practically see her lying in bed, eyebrows furrowed as she considered his offer.

Finally, her message came through.

Savannah:
Well... I suppose someone's gotta keep that ego of yours in check. And besides, I could use a little adventure. Just as long as you promise not to drag me out of bed at ungodly hours like this.

Louis grinned, feeling a strange rush of excitement. Having her on tour would be just what he needed. Someone who knew the real him, who wouldn't buy into the "Louis Tomlinson, rockstar" nonsense.

Louis:
Deal, Sellers. But no promises. This is rockstar life, after all. Might as well start getting used to it now.

Savannah:
God help me, she replied. Alright, superstar, I'll come. But if you wake me up again at 3 AM, I'll make you regret it.

The next morning, Louis was still buzzing. His bandmates noticed immediately over breakfast.

"What's got you grinning like an idiot?" Niall asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Oh, nothing," Louis said, trying to play it cool. "Just convinced my best mate to come along for a few stops on tour. You lot are finally gonna meet the legend herself—Savannah Sellers."

"Oh, the famous Savannah," Liam said, smirking. "The one who kept you humble back in Doncaster?"

"More like kept him in line," Harry added, laughing. "Didn't you say she once locked you out of your own house because you were acting like a prat?"

Louis shot him a look. "First of all, I was not acting like a prat. Second, yes, she did, and that's exactly why she's bloody brilliant. Unlike you lot, she doesn't put up with my bullshit."

Zayn raised an eyebrow, smirking. "She's in for a hell of a time, then. You're even worse now."

"Cheers for that, Zayn," Louis replied, throwing a piece of toast at him. "But honestly, I'm buzzing for you guys to meet her. She's mad as hell, but she's proper good people."

Niall laughed. "If she's anything like you, mate, we're in for a ride."

Louis grinned. "Oh, trust me, lads. You have no idea what's coming."

Back in Doncaster, Savannah lay in bed, staring at the ceiling, still half-convinced she'd dreamt the entire conversation. The idea of joining Louis on tour was surreal. She'd always known he was destined for something big, but the thought of him being an actual rockstar was still sinking in.

She grinned, shaking her head. This was going to be mental, she was sure of it. But as much as she wanted to kill him for that 3 AM text, she couldn't help but feel excited, too. She'd spent years hearing him talk about his dreams—now she'd get to see them firsthand.

And so, with one last text that read, "Get ready, Tomlinson. You've unleashed a monster," she turned off her phone, already plotting ways to make him pay for the rude wake-up call.

A few days later, she was on a train, hurtling toward the chaos that awaited her. The promise of late nights, loud concerts, and Louis's endless ego didn't exactly sound relaxing, but there was something exhilarating about it.

She smirked, clutching her suitcase as the train sped along. Louis had no idea what he'd just signed up for. And as far as she was concerned, the "superstar" was about to get a serious reality check.

After all, she'd been dealing with Louis Tomlinson long before anyone else knew his name.
