The Dungeon
I walk through the dark tunnels as I wander on how I'll find enough monsters to kill. Well, if this goes how most tales go, something will go wrong with the test. Now, if this was very by the books, then it's either a high-grade monster that is not supposed to be here or a high-level goon for an evil group that wants to mess with the school.
Now they can do both, or if it's something else, then it gets tricky. Still, I should keep my guard up. A big way to make the situation tense is by having a known character messed up and very close to death. I'm one of those possible characters.
Well, if I find some people, I may have an easier time to at least get a few points before the possible plot rears its head. Maybe I'm overthinking it here, nothing will happen.
{Don't Bet on it}
Fuck! Well, hopefully, Travis is doing ok.
Travis’s POV
I moved my head to the right to dodge the dagger that was flung at my head. I then saw an arrow hit the goblin that just tried to kill me. I take one look around and take a breath. The coast is clear, and I turn to Mira and say “That was some fantastic shooting, Mira.” She smiles and puts her bow away. Still, I'm lucky I found Mira so easily when they teleported us in here.
Well, me and Mira should try to find some more monsters to kill. If I remember correctly, we needed to get about thirty points. We just killed four feral goblins, so that's at least two points to each of us unless one of them was a chief variant. They could also let us share the points since we made a team. I wish they would have let us ask questions before we started this.
I'm taken out of my thoughts when I feel a hand placed on my shoulder and see Mira. She holds a concerned look in her eyes. A small smile takes my face. I'm so lucky to have a wonderful friend like her. Mira gets a red look on her face. Oh no, I hope she isn't falling ill. I remember she doesn't like caves, and that might not make her feel so well.

{ Oh, that poor boy and every girl that falls for him. She has no idea how dense he is.}
He is so dense that even a black hole would say he is too dense}
{Were you trying to joke? If so then-}
[ WARNING! WARNING! UNSEEN CHANGE IN CORE EVENTS! THREAT LEVEL ABSOLUTE!]
{How bad is it?!}
{Give me a sec. I need to find the origin of the event…….. Ha found it. Oh no. Yea, we need to use the thespian.}
{No, they are too far away, but maybe we use the moppet.}
{The moppet! We use him for entertainment and to do soft corrections if needed, but this is too much for him! He is not needed nor ready. Also, we could be changing the entire flow of events. Things can get a lot darker. Are we sure?}
{Yes} {Yes} {Yes} {Yes} {Yes} {Yes}
{Alright, who wants to be the one who messages the idiot?}
Eduard's POV
I slash with my left blade covered in my shadow magic to the last goblin. I cut its head off and got sprayed with its odd purple blood. Well, that is going to be at least three dracos to get my uniform cleaned. Wait, why didn't I change? Right when I got home, I immediately got a call to come here. What's my luck again?
{New Stat has been added to the Character Page
Luck: 2}
Fuck. Well, this is just great. That makes a lot of sense now that I think of it. Where could the other monsters be? Honestly, it would be cool to have a map like other rpg’s.
{Work in progress for this Skill}
Oh. Well, that's good. I look around to see nothing is nearby in these dark tunnels with me. Okay, I just need to choose where to go in this fork in-. Well, it's not an actual road, more of a path, really. Still forward, left, or right. As the saying goes, left never lies.
Once I turn to my selected path, I get a feeling something bad is going to happen. It's the feeling people talk about before something horrible happens to them. It's like for just a moment they know that this life-changing event is happening. The last time I felt this…..Tu es aliquid alienum.
Strength leaves my legs, and I quickly put a hand on the rocky walls to get some footing. Breathe in and out. Calm down, Eduard. I round the corner to just make sure my body is moving, but I should have known my day would get worse. Damn that Luck 2.
My eyes first land on the blood pool under the body and the many slash marks that riddle it. His body resembles a ripped-up chew toy more than a human body. I couldn't stop staring at such a brutal display. I know there was the possibility of seeing death again, but regardless of how I thought I was going to act, I just started there in shock.
(This next bit is added later when Eduard is asked about this day)
To my last days, I could never remember what I did before I saw the message from the system. Maybe I was expecting one of the many stages people experience when seeing a brutal death. Maybe I screamed but regardless of how much more death I saw after that day I still couldn't remember for the life of me what I did the seconds after seeing that young man dead in front of me.
{The weave of events is unraveling and you are now tasked with stopping the one who has done this. You will now take the role of rival to the fated hero. There is no way of rejecting this honor.}
Wait, Trandor was the rival! This guy was a douche bag! Well, since there is no choice, I have to do this. Breath in and out. I steel myself and look at the corpse of my classmate. Trandor's body is lying on his front with multiple slashes to his back. He was gifted in spear combat, so I wonder if the thing or person who killed him got behind him or if he ran.
He did have a giant ego, but he had some skill that backed it up. My eyes then moved to his spear, and I activated RPG Eyes.
{Spear of Elder Wood - This spear is made of an old tree that survived for over four thousand years. It has a special effect against creatures made of fiendish energy}
Cool. This could be of use one day. I put it in my inventory and follow the trail of blood. Did they drag the body out to get people to come closer, or did he somehow live for a bit to drag himself away before dying of blood loss? Regardless, both suck. I follow the blood to a door. This has the signs of a boss fight. Heck, remove the door with a fog or cloud then it's like those hard video games.
Okay fake, some courage and open the door. My hands shake as they reach for the doors. I then open the doors to a giant room and one thing inside it. A tall huma, humanoid, creature that looks to have a body made of organic muscle like armor. It's holding a longsword to be made of a black metal that barely reflects any light. {RPG Eyes}
{ Blade Demon- Marozzo
It's stats are too high for you to read
Threat level extreme}
Fuck. Before I could think of attacking me my eyes caught a slash aimed to the right side of my neck. I cover my arm in shadow magic to make a focus shadow armor to my right arm. In the blink of an eye this blade demon is in front of me about to slash my neck. I put up my right arm just in time to block the hit but something goes wrong.
I get pushed by so much force that I go flying to the wall on my left. Fuck. I can't move my right arm now. I look down at it to see it's bending the wrong way.
Hey guys, back from being busy. Will try to update some more, but I might get busy again.
