Hey everyoneee! Author here.
Thanks so much for picking up this book! It truly means a lot that there is somebody out there who wants to read my work. I am really grateful for each and every reader. I'm really glad I found the motivation to publish my work on here, and I hope everyone who reads it may enjoy it just as I did when writing this!
Originally, this was meant to be a college series with an adult cast, but I thought high school romance was more fitting for the story, or more to my "liking." Along with that, the characters were suppose to be humanized, but I ended up changing my mind and keep the original characters, haha.
This includes a scrapped scene where Suitcase actually drives Knife to his apartment but the decision was changed, for obvious reasons. There was a lot of ideas I wanted to corporate into this story, but I figured I couldn't add every single idea I wanted. Who knows, though-maybe some of those ideas will make it in later on.
BUT OMG, I can never find any knifecase fanfiction despite it being so popular! I adore this ship so much (basically my OTP!). So, I thought to myself, "why don't I begin writing a fanfiction about these two beloved characters myself?" I'm hoping this story can reach other fans-or anyone, really!
On that note, I try my best to mimic the character's personality and behavior, with slight tweaks here and there to add my own spin, because I don't the characters to be a direct "copy n paste" y'know? I have to add SOME originality to the characters.
So yes, a love story between a "bad boy" and a "good girl" might sound a bit cliché, but I wanted to really explore two flawed characters-one more obviously than the other-who help each other grow and become better people. Most of these characters have internal struggles that they might not even recognize as problems. Their relationship plays out in a way that shows Suitcase and Knife inextricably tied to their own weaknesses. One is passive, always following others and never speaking up for herself. While the other one, feels like he can never be anything more than what he is. He keeps people at a distance, convinced he can't change.
It's a love story about two flawed people who don't realize how much they need each other-until it becomes impossible to ignore. But hey, don't worry as this story isn't melancholic or anything like that, but I do want to add a bit of emotion, somewhat.
