Baekhyun's mind is spinning, his heart racing as he processes the tender kiss. He wants to respond, to say something-anything-but exhaustion, both emotional and physical, finally takes over.
"You don't have to say anything right now,just rest." , says Chanyeol.
Next morning, baek opens his eyes ,His head throbs slightly, and he blinks, disoriented, trying to make sense of where he is. Looking around, he realizes he's on the couch, wrapped in a blanket. Fragments of the night before come back to him-drinking in the backyard, but beyond that, everything is blur....
But Baekhyun decides to stay away from him...
So , he freshens up and sits in the backyard...
After a while Chanyeol arrives and says " Umm , was last night so bad for you ? , you drank a lot and was also very sad..."
"Chanyeol shi can we talk for a moment?"
"Yeah..."
"It's better if we stay away from each other and it's better if we part ways...I don't want to trouble anyone anymore....it has just been a month since we got married, so most probably we cannot file for a divorce...so after a few months, I'll leave this place."
"What?"
Just then he gets a call from the military camp and must stay the night there...
"Baekhyun shi , we will talk about this later as I have to go to the camp now , I most probably will not be back tonight, so stay safe."
"Umm but...right have a safe journey..."
Baek's mind was full of confusion...he was unable to let go of the past nor stay happy about the present...he decided it's the best for Chanyeol too...as Chanyeol may find someone better than him...
In the military camp....
Chanyeol was lost in thought...why did Baekhyun utter these words...did he do something wrong?
Just then his thoughts were interrupted by Seok min...
"Hyung , what happened? Lost in thought? Any issues?"
"Nah...was thinking about something...let's go..."
"Yeah..."
Back to baek's home...
Baek suddenly thought of taking a stroll around the village...as it was in the afternoon, all the villagers would be busy with the farm work , so the village was so silent...
He was passing by a small house , there was a Teenager , he was around 16-17 years of age...he was crying badly , Baekhyun felt sad seeing that , he felt so bad looking at the scene...he approached the kid , the actions were involuntary...
"Hey , what happened? Why are you crying?"
"Umm, nothing. I was just..."
"It's alright, you can tell me , if it's something which I can help you with then I'll surely help you."
"It's actually nothing...I want to go to the National Institute of Trikot to pursue my Engineering."
"Wow , that's impressive..."
"But , I can't even afford to pay for the exam and also I don't have money for going to a training centre. I don't want to just stay here in the small village...I want to become something more...but my family situation says otherwise...my dad doesn't even allow it..."
T"that's actually not a big problem, are you confident, are you dedicated and committed to learning?"
"Now the probability of mine is 0 , even if it changes to 0.1 percent I am willing to give it a go..."
"Then will you trust me? I'll help you with the money and the material and I'll help you in tutoring you..."
"What? Who are you? "
"Umm...I was a high school teacher in the city , I took a break and came here..."
"Umm...wait aren't you the partner of the Commissioner?"
"What...aah yes..."
"So what say?"
"Thank you so much. When should I start coming...where will you teach me..."
"Come to the commissioner's house , there..I'll be available...first I need to know how much you know , what you don't and all , I'll prepare a schedule and all..."
"But what must I tell my dad? "
"Tell your dad that you are helping me with the house work and the garden."
"Yeah...thank you . You are like a Wish Grant Angel fallen from the heavens..."
"You promised me that you will be giving all your best..."
"Yeah, thank you..."
He returned back from the village to the home
he only felt that the kids lives were more important than the confrontations he must face.
His thoughts were interrupted by a long and the door.
It was Joshua, he welcomed him in and ask what made him come here. Joshua said that
it was Chanyeol who said that to him.
Baek was fed up with all this and decided he will strongly face Chanyeol...
