"An Adventure Awaits"

Merlin, arriving into Camelot after obtaining the herbs for Gaius he was delighted by a surprise, "Merlin! Good to see you." Gwen said in a bundle of joy —- "Gwen, You're thrilled today." Merlin said in confusion, although he didn't wanna question it. His facial expression gave it away,

"Well have you forgot? You saved Arthur's life! I couldn't imagine what happened. I'm just delighted that you, Arthur, and the knights have come to Camelot with no problems" Gwen still holding the royal seal, Merlin stood there surprised.

"Oh uh-.. How's he?" Merlin asked in a troubled way  "He's fine, although he can't seem to barely open his eyes, he still manages to have a heart beat which is a blessing to have, you did great Merlin" When Gwen said that Merlin was relieved but confused.

"I have to give these to Gaius" Merlin said "Oh, okay" Gwen said quiet upset about Merlin's reaction but she understood about what happened the passed few days, she walked away as soon as Merlin went to castle, Merlin left and when he was walking up the stairs he was greeted by Lancelot "Good work Merlin!"

As he gets patted by the shoulder, Merlin was confused and remember Arthur dying because of Modred, he then changed his mind and went to Kilgharrah, "What is it that you want Emrys? Kilgharrah wasn't chained anymore— and his calling Merlin, Emrys? "How-.. How are you not chained anymore? Why are you calling me Emrys?" Merlin said baffled about the whole situation "Because that's who you are! And how I'm not chained up is by the kings orders! Crazy how he can do anything while being drugged!"

Kilgharrah said happily

"*Drugged?—What happened?! he was just dead and now people are saying his drugged, but still living??" Merlin said in utter confusion - "Merlin, you saved Arthur's life why can't you just accept it? " Kilgharrah said as he was confused as well

" You're joking- right? I'm just crazy now this— isn't real " Merlin said , not that he doesn't want Arthur to be alive he just doesn't want to be tricked.

"Merlin, He is in he's quarters now, and you will see him as soon as you enter his room, your not dreaming and your certainly not getting tricked" Kilgharrah was worried about Merlin after Arthur got stabbed by the Sword.

Merlin walked away to go to Arthur's room as Kilgharrah said that, "Your not gonna say goodbye?"Also Kilgharrah said, no response.  A few minutes later he was met with Arthur's pale skin, and dark eyes lying in bed, he tossed and turned as soon as Merlin came through the door, He stood in front of his armor and his sword on the table observing it. 'How could I heal him? I thought there was no cure if you get stabbed by the Enchanted sword'. When he was observing the armor and the sword he was greeted with a voice. "Merlin?" Arthur said.

***HII GUYS!! I hope you liked the first chapter, I know it's gonna be pretty bad and short since I was tired writing but this is gonna be the first chapter of "Long live the King" I HOPE YOU WANT ANOTHER CHAPTER >.< I'm sorry if the whole thing doesn't make sense :( js watch the last episode of Merlin and that's (oh and btw this is a slow burn so it's gonna take a long time to get into the merthur stuff)
