SECTIONS OF THE MILITARY

(est. June 14, 1775) The Army- The Army was actually the first established branch of the military way back when. The people of the Army are mostly trained for fighting on land.

(est. Oct. 13, 1775) The Navy- The Navy primally fights in seas, oceans, and even large bodies of water, maybe even going to a really big river! The Navy is only 4 months apart from the Army, making it the second oldest branch in the military. (My grandparents met in the Navy!)

(est. Nov. 10, 1775) The Marine Corps- Marines are a more difficult branch to fight in, considering that they fight on the land, in the sea, and even up in the air! Even so, Marines have some pretty tough training to be able to fight on all three terains, so they have my utmost respect, along with every else as well. :) They are also the third oldest branch, almost a month away form each other.

(est. Sept. 18, 1947) The Air Force- Skipping a whole century or two, we welcome the Air Force, who with basically all the air warfare you can think of. And I really hope you can tell where the Air Force takes their battles at.

(est. Jan. 25, 1915) The Coast Guard- Hello, hello Coast Guard! One of my previous teachers spent actually spent a few years on the Coast Guard so that's pretty cool. Coast Guards safeguard the maritime environments around them by enforcing U.S. and international laws and responding to incidents. :)

(est. Dec. 20, 2019) The Space Force- The Space Force organizes, trains and equips personnel in order to protect U.S. and allied interests in space and to provide space capabilities to the joint forces. Which is a little exaggerated in my my opinion, but I personally haven't heard them do a lot so sorry if I'm wrong.
