Chapter 29: Yule Ball Part 2

Amelias POV

I instantly felt the nerves hit me hard when we walked in. People were staring at the champions and their dates. Well most of them were staring at Charlie and I. Well if they believed I was dating the twins then they just got proved wrong.

" Amelia you know you can smile." I hear Charlie whisper from my side" You can look at people later but right now lets look at me or the floor because I don't want to fall and I know you don't either." I immediately had to cover my face in order to hide the laugh that was coming.

" Okay maybe don't make me laugh when we are walking in front of everyone." I whisper.

" I will make you laugh at every moment I can my Lily flower." I look down trying to hide the blush that arose on my face but I knew I failed when we passed the twins.

" Amelia what did Charlie say this time?" Fred asks or more yells in front of the whole room.

" Yeah you're bright red." George yells while laughing.

The whole room erupts in laughter and me and Charlie both keep our heads down. I look over to his face to see it almost as red as his hair. So in simpler words we are both blushing, and hard. I look back to the twins and yell a strand of curse words in Latin and Ancient Greek. No one understood but the twins and Charlie since I taught them the words. Mainly to know when I'm mad as hell.

" Amelia you can't say that." Charlie whispers in my ear while hitting my shoulder lightly

" They don't know what it means so its fine Char." I tell the concerned man to the side of me. I didn't even realize we had reached the end and were now in a circle being surrounded by all the students.

I hear something from behind me," Harry, grab my waist" I look back to see Harry confused about what he was supposed to do. I chuckled and shook me head.

I felt an arm around my waist, and looked up to see Charlie smirking at me. I smirk back as I take his hand. The music starts and we never break eye contact. We dance like we never did before. Charlie lets go of my hand to hold the other one. Yet in all these movements we never broke eye contact. The one time we did was when Charlie spun me around. I heard some laughter but to be honest I had no idea if it was the crowd or me.

Out of the corner of my eye i see two things. Harry messing up and making an joke of himself. The second thing I saw was Minnie and Dumbles stepping onto the dance floor. I loved Professor McGonagall, but I hated Dumbledore. I never got over the fact he basically forced me to be in this world. I am happy now but the first year making friends was hard and I missed everyone from camp. He also made me do things like the age line why me? He should be the one to do it. He told me it was to make me reach my potential, but I think he hates me too.

I turn my focus back onto Charlie and dancing but he almost stopped dancing. I had to urge him on. He wouldn't look at me but he saw his sister with Neville. Oh my Gods he was mad he didn't get to meet Neville first or something. He was probably one of the most protective of her. Prat face Percy was too but we both rarely saw him anymore with his new job.

Everyone was dancing now and somehow all the boys lifted their dates at the same time. It was amazing. I saw Fred next to me with Angelina and George not too far away with a red head witch. Who it was I  had no idea but at least he was happy. I did have a feeling though that George should be the one dancing with Angelina. Where it came from was also a mystery.

" Do you know the kid dancing with my sister?" Charlie says his voice full of concern. All I did was laugh.

" Yeah that's Neville Longbottom. Blimey Charlie, he is probably the sweetest kid here. He loves plants and wouldn't hurt a fly. You don't need to worry about Ginny you can trust Neville." I say with a smile on my face. What I said seemed to calm him down but he didn't seem fully convinced. 

We stopped dancing and Charlie went to get us drinks. I saw Ron and Harry sitting on chairs alone. They looked mad and sad. Well here we go.

" What up your asses? Be happy this is a once in a lifetime experience. At least enjoy it you too." I say while pulling up a chair.

" Well you can be happy you have a date, your pretty , and your a champion. You are having fun keep having it don't worry about us." Ron says. I look at him with a " are you serious right now" Look and he lets out a huge sigh." Fine what do you want us to do?"

" Yay so you are going to listen. I see a few girls out there with no dates. Go dance with them." I say with a hopeful smile.

" Amelia I love you dearly but that would be so awkward." Harry says while laughing.

" Fine then little brother dance with me." I say holding out a hand.

"No" he says 

" Yes"

" No"

 " Yes "

"Fine i'll dance with you but only for this one song." He says while getting up.

" Love you too tiny dancer." I say while running to catch up with him.

Charlie's POV

I had just gotten back to where Amelia was with the drinks  only to find her not there. Of course she moved. She couldn't sit still. I look around to find Ron sitting by himself at a table. If he was alone Amelia was probably with Harry. Sure enough when I sat down I could see Harry and Amelia dancing a few meters away.

" You get left too." Ron asks

I laugh before replying" Something like that but hey shes having fun so its fine." I look over at her to see her face with a huge smile on it. I smile at the sight. 

 Ron looks at me and smiles." You really love her. Don't you?" He asks looking at me for my reaction.

I look back at Amelia." Yeah I really do."

pipers alive

Heyyyy so I know it is not Saturday but I have the day off and I'm bored so I'm writing it now. I also want to update my other stories too so they dance the rest of the night and go to bed. Thank you guys for 4k reads I am so happy this reached that I never thought it would.
