Halflings 2: The Kids Tail

Chapter 1: Their Baaack~

(Dragoon here!  Barack with the second instalment of Halflings! If you have yet to read the first I recommend doing so before or you will be lost.  Without any further ado let's begin!)

"I had this really weird dream Manic" Xexion whispered rubbing his eyes while walking in his brother's room.  Manic was used to this.  If Jim wasn't over, Manic would have these horrible nightmares.  He blamed Nick but poor Xexy all way defended him. 

"What was it about this time X? Cause it's like... 4 in the morning and we have to get up for in a couple hours." Manic groaned after looking at the alarm clock with the red numbers on it as if to taunt him. 

"Well this one was about dad, papa, uncle Kev, uncle Edd, Uncle Dragoon and Uncle Johnny dying.  I wish Nick was here.  He would tell me everything is alright" Xexion  whimpered, hugging his arms to his body tighter. Nick was finally opening up to him after being mated to him for a year. Nick wasn't that keen on it thanks to the age gap of dedi, almost 5 years. But recently he's been opening up to Xexy.

"Come here and sleep with me. During school we can find Jim and you can tell him about it. He gained Uncle Edd's smarts. If he can't figure it out talk to Nick. Ok? I just want to go to sleep so Plank and our annoying sister won't bother me as much. I don't wanna be hiding around Jim cause he's so small and fragile looking" Manic blushed at just the mention of Jim's name. After all this time he still hasn't been able to get rid of the silly crush he had on Jim. He would actually go as far to say he loved him and was really wishing that the little fireball was his mate. Only time would tell. He was doubting it though. Xexy climbed in with his brother, falling straight to sleep.

The blaring of the alarm clock made Manic shoot into the air and pounding on it until it ceased the alarm. He made his way over to Xexion, whom was still asleep, woke him and headed to have the first shower before Robyn decided to make her way there to do her "things" as she called them. After he was out of the shower, Xexy was at the door with a bored expression on his face before going in and shutting the door.

After getting dressed for school he went to the kitchen finding his pops and Xexy there making food. No matter how fast he got ready, Xexion was quicker.

"Morning pops" Manic said as he plopped down at the breakfast bar, taking an apple and munching on it.

"Morning Manic" Rave answered as he flipped a pancake in the pan he had. Xexy put a plate of pancakes on the table while Robyn came down stairs towel drying her hair.  Her teal and burgundy hair fell to her waist.

"Honey I think there was a reason getting you a hair dryer" Nat laughed as he took a bite into the golden brown pancakes that sat in front of him.

"I don't have enough time dad.  After breakfast we have to go to school.  If Manic didn't use up like, an hour in the shower I would have dry hair.  I swear he takes more time to get ready than me" she chirped sitting down at the table.  Nat looked at Rave expectedly as he reached the table with the last of the pancakes. 

"Hope to god you get a male mate Manic.  Since we can tell your gay already" Nat and Rave both said in unison before laughing together making Manic go 50 shades of red. 

"Bro the only one that doesn't know your crushing big time on Jim is Jim himself.  Everyone else knows it" Robyn said swallowing the last of the pancakes on her plate. 

"I swear that boy is oblivious as Kev is" Nat chuckled as he got up to put his plate in the sink so he could go to work.  He kissed Rave goodbye as he planted a kiss on each of his children heads telling them he loved them before leaving.   

"Bye daddy!  Be safe at work!" Manic screeched at Nat before pulling Rave into a hug and followed his siblings out the door.

"Robyn don't forget that Nazz is picking you up from school for a Girl's day!" Rave called after his daughter getting an ok from down the driveway.  He sighed and started to get himself ready for work.
