The weight of Isaacs hand was uncomfortable as he pressed firmly into my shoulder. Despite my irritated glare, he brought his finger to his lips. Why did he so badly want to hear what they were talking about?

"Get your hand off me." I say and he had the audacity to then put his finger to my lips. I swat his hand away. I was curious at first as to why Evelyn was here with Draven but it was long gone now. We could barely make out what they were saying.

"Evelyn go back to the cabin. I don't want your sister blaming me for you falling ill." Dravens gruff voice stood out against the rushing water. Was this another plan of theirs? To talk to us separately?

"She's doing better. I know you worry about her. Last night wasn't suppose to go the way it did but she did finally mention how she was feeling. That's got to count for something right?" She tries to get him to engage with her but it was fairly silent.

"If I have to drag you back to that cabin, I will. So take the opportunity to leave on your own." He would most definitely follow through with his words but somehow Evelyn still had the courage to keep talking.

"She loves you Draven....you two just don't understand what you're both trying to say. So just don't give up on her, that's what she wants you to do. She reacts that way because how you feel means the most to her. If you bear it, even for one more day. Maybe she will come around."  She sighs and I just get more irritated that this is what these two do behind our backs. Run around telling us stuff so we act a certain way.

"Isaac I won't tell you again." He looks down at me in shock as he was caught up trying to listen. He looks hurt as he finally takes his hand off my shoulder.

He crosses his arms over one another. "Can't you just sit still for two minutes? I was trying to listen to something." He tries to go back to snooping but I kick him in the back of his legs that makes him fall out from behind the rock.

I come out from behind the rock where I see Draven immediately look in my direction where as my sister didn't seem to catch on as quick. Once he saw it was me he faced back towards the river. "This should be fun." I hear him say.

As I get closer I can hear Isaac get up and start following me. Only now my sister notices and she didn't seem pleased that we were here. "Really Isaac? I told you to avoid the river do you just not listen to instructions?" My sister moans as we finally meet each other.

"Do you know what hell I've been put through? She almost killed me twice! And she threaten to carve her name into my face. You should be happy that I'm still alive. This whole plan was stupid anyways. I should've told you no as soon as you assigned Vera to me." His face turns slightly pink whilst Evelyn looks at me for clarity on his story.

"This is keeping out of my business?" I say to Isaac who scratches his head moving closer to Evelyn so he is not in my reach. This whole 'walk' was a complete waste of my time and sanity.

"She is the devil. I don't feel comfortable being left alone with her." Isaac adds as I step a little closer to him. Now my day has become dull and irritating thanks to these two.

"Isiah I suggest you take Evelyn back. The pair of you have done enough for the day." Draven cuts in. He must have been just as annoyed as me at these two meddling when it wasn't needed or wanted.

"Seriously Isaac, I asked you if you could handle Vera and you told me not to worry. If she doesn't talk to me because of you then I'm not talking to you." Evelyn huffs as she turns her back to Isaac who looks at me in disbelief.

"Don't just pin the blame on me for messing this operation up. You were about three seconds away from being dragged back to that cabin. If Draven takes it out on me then consider my silent treatment as punishment." The two start to bicker as I look at them bored.
