Seeing one's own death in their eyes, something unimaginable... would death become trivial? You can always come back, so... what consequence would there be?

After resurrecting and noticing a flower growing from their forehead, Frisk walked the same route as last time, noticing no differences in the paths but in the events. Once again, they encountered the monster they spared for the first time, and a fight began... Only this time, the monster fled in its first turn.

–How strange, the monster didn't even try to attack– Boogie said, looking on with his usual smile, thinking maybe he was the one who intimidated the monster. Frisk, however, thought what they did before dying was related to this. Another thing was confirmed: Boogie did not remember the death. The last change was that "Papyrus" did not appear to attack them now; they continued on without even seeing the skeleton.

That flower that grew from their forehead, that voice they heard upon dying... Something was wrong.

After walking for so long, Boogie and Frisk arrived at a castle—a dark castle clinging to the ceiling, it seemed. Alongside this, at its entrance, was a dead tree, looking like no one had tended to it at all.

–Oh, be careful in this place, Frisk; a very... strong monster lives here– the flower behind them warned, as the child observed one of those stars by the castle door. Frisk approached it and touched it again, feeling their energy renewed... But the flower on their forehead didn't disappear.

"The weak, cold wind from the door brings a great anxiety throughout your body... Not feeling fear in the face of it fills you with determination."

After feeling a slight weight lift from their body, they opened the castle door. The first thing they noticed was a large hall, two staircases leading to the same door on the second floor, and three doors in the area where they were.

–The exit isn't in this castle; it's further ahead... We need to get through it– Boogie advised, looking toward the door ahead.

–I think it's exactly that door... Go, Frisk, let's get out before the monster finds us!– The flower seemed to want to hide the faint fear in its voice. Frisk didn't notice this fear and did as Boogie asked. She went forward and through the door, reaching a bridge surrounded by decorative water.

–Okay, looks safe... Keep going– Frisk did so; Boogie didn't even need to ask. She walked until she saw a door.

–There it is! The exit!– The monster seemed excited to see it, and Frisk quickened her pace. However... blue bones appeared in front of them, seeming to block the passage.

–Where do you think you're going?– A voice called from behind them, and a shiver ran through the small flower's body. The area turned black and white, and a battle began once again, and Frisk felt frightened. "It was this monster... He..." She placed her hand over the flower on her forehead. She quickly turned and once again witnessed the fearsome appearance of that skeleton.

–You foolish plant, I should have guessed you were the traitor– Papyrus spoke angrily, creating bones from the ground that began to float soon after.

–Be careful, Frisk. Papyrus is different from the monsters you've fought– Boogie warned.

–Even though you were once my servant, I won't hold back– Frisk didn't understand that comment but had no time to ask. Papyrus attacked her with several bones heading her way. She tried to dodge, but there were many strikes, much faster than she'd imagined, along with attack strategies. These weren't simple blows to kill; Papyrus seemed to know exactly where to strike. Thus, Frisk grew very weak after all those blows.
