The girl fired another plasma blast at another torch, nodding to herself. Normally, she didn't condone violence against humans, but ever since the attack on her home, she was flexible. She looked up as she heard another whistle, eyes wide.
"Another one! Get down!" Vikings shouted, before a plasma blast wrecked the catapult. Her eyes widened, and she flew after the very faint outline of a dragon. A Night Fury was alive? All this time?
She tucked her wings in to gain speed, letting out a roar. She waited for a moment, then noticed the shadow beside her. "Start explaining." The shadow, the Night Fury, demanded. She smiled, and was about to speak, before he glanced down. "One moment," he grumbled, before he dived down, and fired at another catapult. He chuckled to himself, so confident.
Then he screamed in pain as he heard a snap, feeling something wrap around him. He went diving down, falling past Raven Point.
The girl gasped, and sped after him, eyes wide. "I'll save you!" She roared after him, glancing back once. Her eyes narrowed at a scrawny looking boy. She held in her growl, instead flying after the Night Fury.

Hiccup had ran out to the fields with his new, slightly faulty invention, waiting for something to shoot at. The moment the catapult exploded, he had aimed, and fired. So, imagine his shock when he heard a screech, and saw the Night Fury fall past Raven Point. "I hit it," he breathed.
But he paused as he saw a young girl, about his age, glare down at him from the sky, with wings as white as snow. She snorted, and followed the Night Fury. Hiccup blinked, but beamed, his mind going to the nearest possible solution to what she was. "I hit it, and saw a Valkyrie! Did anyone see that?!" He laughed.
A Monstrous Nightmare landed behind him, crushing his catapult. Hiccup turned, and his face fell. "Except for you," he deadpanned. The Monstrous Nightmare growled, and gave chase, Hiccup screaming like a little girl as he ran.
Long story short, his father saved his life. His father also happened to be Stoick the Vast. Walking home, he sighed. "I really did hit a Night Fury, and I did see a Valkyrie. She was right there, in the sky." He insisted to Gobber, who was walking him home. "Sure you did. What did she look like?" Gobber hummed, not believing him.
Hiccup smiled a bit, "She was... Tan, she had a couple of freckles, and her hair was gold, super long. Her wings were pure white, and she had a tail. She was just... Amazing.". Gobber groaned a bit, "Oh, great. You imagined the girl of your dreams. Why the wings and a tail, though?". Hiccup groaned, "But I did see her! Does he believe me, no!".
He stopped at his door, doing an impersonation of his father. "Excuse me, barmaid, I'm afraid you gave me the wrong son. I asked for an extra large boy with beefy arms. This here, this is a talking fishbone!". Gobber couldn't exactly disagree. "The point is... Stop trying to be something you're not." He advised.
Hiccup sighed, "I just want to be one of you guys...". With that, he entered his house, closing the door. As soon as Gobber left, he ran out the back door, grinning to himself.
He had a Night Fury and a Valkyrie to find.
