Chapter 18: Locating Odin

Two Years Later...

Public opinion of the Avengers was not positive. Robert Gonzales of S.H.I.E.L.D. felt that the whole Ultron Offensive was Tony Stark's fault. Christine Everhart, in interviews with the United Nations, expressed the opinion that superheroes needed regulation in their activities.

Wanda often sat in her room watching various sitcoms. One day, Y/N came over for a visit entered and spoke with Maximoff both getting along, the Avengers were finally able to prove themselves in battle hen they had to go up against HYDRA and an Ultron-like robot called Ultimo. The group battled Ultimo for a while before Y/N and Maximoff was able to rip it apart. Afterwards, Y/N and Wanda begin to date.

After the Battle of Sokovia caused the deaths of 177 civilians and $474 billion in damage which, along with a disastrous operation in Lagos, led to the passing of the Sokovia Accords, a set of legal documents designed to control and regulate the activities of enhanced individuals such as the Avengers. Established by the United Nations and ratified by 117 countries, the Accords were to serve as a legal response to international concerns over unsanctioned actions and their consequences by members of the Avengers.

A woman confronted Tony Stark, as she personally blamed him for her son's death during the Battle of Sokovia, which made Stark become supportive of the Sokovia Accords. This resulted in the Avengers Civil War, that split the team into two factions, the pro-Accords team led by Stark fighting against the anti-Accords team led by Steve Rogers. Y/N did not participate in the battle himself, not wanting any part of it considering id he did New York will be left without a Sorcerer Supreme. That did not stop him though from aiding Steve and Natasha from breaking out Sam, Wanda, Clint, Pietro and Scott from the Raft. After freeing them, Rogers and Bucky Barnes traveled to Wakanda and were granted asylum there. T'Challa let Barnes, who was still shaken by his actions, go back into cryogenic stasis at the Wakanda Medical Center until the HYDRA programming was erased. Rogers then left and was joined by Wilson and Natasha. The three spent the rest of the year and all of the next year, living as fugitives.

Following her liberation, Y/N offered Wanda and Pietro sanctuary at the New York Sanctum, Pietro declined but Wanda agreed to it. During her time there, she changed her brown hair color to more of a strawberry blonde, completely dropped her Sokovian accent and continued her relationship with Y/N. Whenever Ross came wanting answers of Steve and the others whereabout, he told he did not know where they were and told him to leave.

A few months later, Y/N had a conversation with Wong regarding the Infinity Stones and their history across the Nine Realms. Wong also explained that his reason for telling him this was that Thor had seemingly returned to Earth and brought Loki with him for unknown reasons, which could pose a potential threat to the planet.

Upon arriving back on the Earth, Thor and Loki had soon discovered that Shady Acres Care Home, the retirement house where Loki had previously dropped off Odin in New York City had been demolished. Thor and Loki are wearing street clothes ad Thor carries an umbrella, Loki is dressed in a weird avant-garde suit.

Loki: I swear, I left him right here.

Thor: Right here on the sidewalk? Or right there, where the building that's being demolished? Great planning.

Loki: How was I supposed to know? Can't see into the future. I'm not a witch.

Thor: Then why do you dress like one?

Loki: Hey.

Thor: I can't believe you're alive. I saw you die. I mourned you, I cried for you.

Loki: I'm honored.

College Girl: 2 Ask him.

College Girl: 1 Hi. Would you mind taking a picture with us?

Thor: Sure.
