Y/n and Huiwon stood together and watched as the Minor Group bargained with the Major Group. Forced to put up with absurd prices for food and pressured into joining the scavenging team that was essentially a death sentence."We should be doing something!" Huiwon seethed. "If we leave the people on their own they'll just join the scavenging team and get themselves killed!"
Y/n nodded albeit reluctantly. "But if they stay they risk starving..."
"Then let's just get rid of Inho Cheon and the Major Group! We're strong enough together! Once they're gone-"
"Someone else will just take their place." Y/n interrupted much to Huiwon's frustration as she couldn't refute the claim.
"So long as there's a food shortage someone will be there to monopolize it. I considered going back out to scavenge for food myself again but that would just be a temporary solution."
"What do you mean? With your skill, I'm sure we could get enough food for everyone." Huiwon responded though Y/n quickly shook his head.
"My skill lasts for 30 minutes so what happens when we empty out the stores we can get to within that time frame?" Y/n asked and Huiwon clenched her fists as she realized what he was insinuating.
"We're right back where we started..."
Y/n nodded. "Not to mention, do you really think the Dokkabei will just let us live here while ignoring the scenario?"
Huiwon frowned as she was reminded of the White monster and the mission forced onto their shoulders. "I'd almost forgotten with everything going on."
"It's only a matter of time until they force us to complete the scenario in some way. Be it by having monsters raid the station or who knows?" The more Huiwon listened the more she understood the gravity of their situation. Her gaze drifted to the Major Group's tent on the other side of the station, her eyes falling on the man who had attempted to rape her not long ago.
Y/n placed a hand on her shoulder as he looked together with her. "You'll get your revenge but right now we need to ensure our own survival."
"What are you thinking Dokja?" Y/n asked as he and his friend stood on the train tracks in front of Geumho station. Dokja had wanted to investigate the way to the next subway station and Y/n had joined him.
"Shouldn't you be with Huiwon?" Dokja asked as he looked down the darkened tunnel.
"I trust she can take care of herself," Y/n answered confidently.
Dokja hummed in thought before looking to his friend with a smile. "Not yet, she still needs some guidance and I can't think of anyone better for the job."
"Me? I'd always thought of you as the better guide between us." Y/n laughed though Dokja shook his head, a serious look now adorning his face.
"No. She needs someone like you close to her. Especially considering her circumstances."
Y/n gave Dokja a confused look, prompting his friend to explain.
"She has an attribute that will dictate whether she becomes an ally... or an enemy," Dokja explained and Y/n nodded, now taking this seriously.
"She has the [Crouching Figure] attribute," Dokja revealed. "It's a rare evolutionary attribute that evolves based on the Incarnations experiences and skills."
Y/n nodded. "That's good, right? Huiwon's a good person! She'll get a new attribute that will be really strong and there's no way she'll become our enemy."
