Y/n looked up from his blue screen to see that he was now somewhere else entirely. Seated in what looked to be an abandoned limousine the young man looked around at the mess that filled its interior before finding the woman who addressed him. She sat there motionless for a moment and the silence in the car was deafening.

"I would apologize for the mess but it's not my fault. Guess it's what happens to things when they're abandoned... I'm gonna kick nose guy when I see him again." There was a sad look on the woman's face as she looked upon the limousine's interior. She slouched against her seat as she sat on the opposite side of the limousine.
Y/n wanted to say something to cheer her up, but before he could the vehicle suddenly jerked to the side, making Y/n's face slam up against the window.
"What the..." Opening his eyes the young man was met with a dark expanse filled with stars as far as the eye could see. Y/n didn't get much time to enjoy the view however as the woman across from him began to bang on the window behind her in anger. A window that separated their part of the limo from the driver's seat. "Keep it steady kid! The only reason you're driving is cause I don't know how! The least you could do is not crash!"
"Sorry, Miss!" A child-like voice was heard from the other side of the window.
The girl let out a sigh of frustration before turning back to Y/n. "Right! Let's get this done. That black-haired guy already left you for dead back in your world."
"Huh?! That's..." Y/n hesitated to say any more. Despite how little he read of the novel one trait it had emphasized about Joonghyuk and that he had even witnessed himself was the main character's will to survive no matter the price. Leaving him behind because he was unconscious or the like was very in character for him.
"My name is Marie, don't forget it!" The girl introduced herself placing a confidant hand on her chest. "As per the rules of the star stream, you are now my Incarnation!"
"Star stream? Incarnation?" Y/n repeated much to Marie's frustration. "If you've got questions then ask that white ball! You don't have time for this!" Marie replied referring to the Dokabei.
"I'm only gonna say this once so pay attention! Time passes faster here than in your world, and thanks to my lack of expertise it's even faster than normal. Not to mention that bringing you here forcefully has made my control over this space even more unstable. A day has already gone by in your world no doubt." Marie revealed much to the shock of Y/n, and before he could say anything the girl spoke again.
"No questions! I need to borrow your persona for a bit. In the meantime, I'll lend you more of my power aside from what you'd normally get from forming a contract with me." The girl took a breath before looking up at Y/n again. "You can feel a faint stirring of a bond or whatever." Marie waved her hands in the air for a moment before snapping her fingers.
