It was the middle of the night, a storm raging and thundering as the Tanner household sat still.
Silently, a figure crept down the stairs, a bat in hand, his head looking back and forth.
Down below the stairs, another male figure was hearing the creaking of footsteps, and he arose, grabbing the nearest item as a defense.
The two slowly crept towards one another, until a burst of thunder and lightning lit the room, causing the two of them to collide and then scream and jump away from one another.
Danny was quick to come downstairs, tying up his robe and turning on the hall light. Vivian also joined the group, holding hands with DJ and Stephanie, all three looking confused.
Danny sighed, "Joey, what's going on down here? What's all the screaming about?"
As he stepped to the last step he saw Joey and Jesse standing off against one another. Joey was hugging a Mr. Potato Head figurine to his chest, "Danny, this psycho was about to mash my potato!"
Jesse rolled his eyes, "Was not! I heard a noise down here and I thought it was a prowler."
Joey shook his head, "Liar!"
Jesse shushed him, looking around, "Alright, follow me, I think it's over here..." The group of men began to creep forward in search of the noise, when the three girls came half-way down the stairs. DJ chimed in, "Hello?"
The three men all jumped and screamed, looking back at them, Danny inhaled sharply, "Don't ever say hello to your father like that again."
Stephanie ignored the comment to her sister, continuing to pull the two girls down the rest of the stairs. Her eyes caught onto the bat in Jesse's hands, "Do you guys play baseball every night after we go to sleep?"
Joey looked down at the young Tanner, "Well, actually girls... your Uncle Jesse is holding a bat because he's a wee bit miffed at me."
Jesse deadpanned. "A wee bit miffed? I'm miffed off. When I think about what you did tonight."
Vivian stepped forward with a frown, "Jesse."
Jesse brushed her off with a shake of the hand as Joey backed up slightly, "Come on, Jesse. Let's let bygones be bygones."
Jesse stepped forward menacingly, dropping the bat and grabbing Joey by the collar, "Alright. Bye. You're gone!"
Danny intervened, "I don't know what's going on here, but why don't you guys just stop this and give each other a hug?"
The two looked back at him incredulously, Danny cringed, "A high five?"
Jesse sneered, "I'm not in the mood. Do you know why? I'll tell you why! It's all because of a little story titled: 'Mean Mr. Joey stabs sweet, innocent Uncle Jesse in the back.'"
DJ shared a look with Steph, moving to sit on the couch together. "Story time!"
"Yup!"
Vivian gave Jesse a pointed look, knowing where this was going, before smiling tiredly at the girls, "Girls, you don't want to hear 'Mean Mr. Joey stabs sweet, innocent Uncle Jesse in the back' do you?"
DJ shrugged, "Yeah, it's got a great title."
Vivian wanted to convince them to not let Jesse continue on, but Danny gave in, "Alright, one quick story. But don't even think about staying up to watch Letterman." He looked over at the two men, "This better be PG."
Jesse began, "It all started last week. The exterminator business was slow, so I decided to start teaching guitar. As I was waiting for my new student to show up..."
