Brielle sat in the back of Rafe's car after Midsummers, a pissed off frown etched into her face as she sat there with Rafe's blue blazer over her shoulders. She was sitting in the back of her boyfriend's car, not shotgun like she should be. Rafe wasn't even driving his own car, but instead of sitting in the back with her, he sat passenger next to Topper. It was Kelce sitting in the back with Brielle.

They had one dance before Rafe separated from her to go talk to Topper and Kelce again. Apparently, Topper caught Sarah kissing John B. When her parents were set to leave, she had half the mind to go home with them instead. Yet, at the end of the day, she sat next to Kelce in the back of the car listening to the nonsense her boyfriend spouted when trying to cheer up his sister's boyfriend.

Or was Topper already Sarah's ex boyfriend? She was found kissing someone else, anyways.

"You're better off without her, Top," Rafe encouraged from the passenger seat, reaching over to smack Topper's chest enthusiastically. "Trust me. I live with the bi—"

"Rafe," Brielle warned, leaning forward in her seat to smack his arm at the same time Topper interjected, "Rafe, don't call your sister a bitch, man, come on."

She had already talked to him once about using that word to talk about his sister.

Rafe just chuckled, as if both himself and Brielle were so hilarious.

"Yo, I'll call her whatever I want, man, all right?" he said back, amused.

"Rafe."

He just looked over the seat and sent her a sweet smile, as if he wasn't being a total asshole right now.

"Come on, bro. Drink up, all right?" Kelce encouraged as he passed Topper a beer bottle.

"Are you guys kidding me?" Brielle asked, looking between all three of the stupid idiots she was in the car with. She watched Topper take a huge chug of his bottle. "Topper, pull over."

"What? No," Rafe replied for him.

"Pull the car over, Topper," she repeated, taking her seat belt off and leaning forward so that her body was half in the front of the car to try to get him to listen to her.

"Babe!" Rafe half scolded half whined as the car started to beep, the indicator flashing that one of the passengers was not wearing a seat belt. "Sit down and put your seat belt on."

"No! Pull the car over!"

Instead of listening to her, Topper just pounded on the steering wheel and let out a frustrated sound that came from his throat. "I... I gotta see her, man. We're not... we're not good right now."

Brielle just scoffed at the unbelievable behavior she was witnessing. All three of the boys were drunk, Rafe was pissed off at JJ's comments about Brielle so he was using Topper's love life issues to make himself feel better, and Kelce was simply just there for the ride.

Since she realized no one was going to listen to her, she muttered a string of curses to herself and how they were going to kill her if they continued like this, so she opened the car door.

"Woah, woah!" Rafe protested from the front of the car.

Topper looked at her through the rear view mirror, getting distracted and almost swerving her door into a fence.

Rafe turned around in around in his seat, trying to grab onto Brielle from where he was. He couldn't reach her, but Kelce grabbed onto Rafe's blazer she had on, all three idiots thinking she was about to jump out of the moving vehicle.
