Titanium Elbow
In pipeline systems, elbows are fittings that change the direction of the pipeline. According to angles, there are three most commonly used angles: 45° and 90° and 180°. In addition, according to engineering needs, there are also other abnormal angle bends such as 60°.
Titanium elbow is a widely used elbow. Due to the thin and dense oxide protective film on the surface of titanium, titanium has strong corrosion resistance in various water quality environments and even embeds in soil. Titanium elbows have high connection strength and strong vibration resistance, which can make the connection part secure at once and effectively prevent joint loosening. The installation is convenient and fast, without the need for on-site welding and threading operations, and the titanium elbow has a long service life. According to actual corrosion test data, the service life of titanium elbows can reach 100 years, and titanium elbows basically do not require normal use and maintenance. Therefore, their cost-effectiveness is very high, and the operating cost is relatively low, which is clearly very cost-effective.

Production Process
Push extrusion molding
Using seamless titanium tube as the billet, the billet with a diameter smaller than the finished diameter is pushed and extruded into shape on a push extrusion machine. The forming mold is fixed on the main machine without moving, and there is an active thrust to push the tube billet forward from the right to the left. During the mold, the billet is heated and protected, and during the forming process, the tube billet is expanded.
Pressure welded titanium elbow (UO method)
a. Upper mold b. Billet c. Lower mold
Use a mold to shape it into a U-shaped shape, and then use another mold to shape it into an O-shaped or tubular shape, once the accessory is made into a tumbler shape, it is welded from the inside and outside of the closed joint. The large titanium elbow is made by welding two separate plates, compared with the multi seam "shrimp waist" style, it has fewer welds and is not subjected to erosion and corrosion on the face, but rather to erosion in the direction, resulting in better corrosion resistance.
Applications
Titanium alloy elbows are widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical industry, Chloralkali industy, Light Industry, Salt Industry, Electric Power, nuclear power plants, food manufacturing, construction, shipbuilding, papermaking, pharmaceuticals, etc
Besides titanium, we also provide elbows which made of stainless steel, nickel, zirconium, and other materials.
