"ALEXIS! OPEN THIS DOOR RIGHT NOW!" Alexis' mother yelled. But that didn't help Alexis, it only made her more scared. Alexis' head was spinning. "What's going on? What happening to me? I don't know what to do..." These thoughts spun in Alexis' head until she heard one word that was different. "KILL" Alexis stopped, she had no control of what she was doing. Alexis got up and walked towards her door, she placed her hand on the doorknob and all the ice on the frame melted. Alexis opened the door quickly and stared in silence at her mother, who was looking back at Alexis with concern.
"Alexis? Honey? Are you OK?" Alexis' mother asked with a slight shake in her voice. Alexis stood, not moving, not making a sound, and she just stared at her mother. "Alexis?" Alexis' mother placed a hand on Alexis' shoulder and shook her slightly. Alexis ignored her mother and looked down the hallway, to the kitchen, then to the front door. She calmly walked down the hallway, towards the kitchen. Once Alexis reached the kitchen she slowly walked towards the drawer, swerving around the island in the middle of their kitchen. "Alexis? Sweetie? What are you doing?" Alexis' mother was quite concerned at this point, and a bit scared. Still unable to control herself, Alexis' entire attitude changed. "Shut up!" Alexis spoke harshly to her mother who was startled by Alexis' words. "What did you just say to me Alexis?" Her mother spoke with fire in her tone. "I TOLD YOU TO SHUT UP OLD WOMAN!" Alexis spat her words at her mother. Alexis then reached into the drawer and grabbed two skewers. Before she even lay a finger on the skewers, intricate patterns of frost and ice swirled around the stainless steel objects. She curled her pale hands around each skewer and closed the drawer. "WATCH YOUR MOUTH CHILD!" Alexis' mother screeched at her. Alexis stopped dead in her tracks and stared at her mother, that was when her mother realized that this was not her Alexis. Before her mother could think twice about her daughter, Alexis shot her hand upwards and froze her mother to the floor. Alexis then calmly strode to her mother, frost swirling from each of her steps. Once she reached her mother, Alexis spoke in a manner where she was so calm it was terrifying. "I believe that you should be the one to watch your mouth old woman." Right then and there, Alexis jabbed one of the snowy skewers into her mother's mouth, piercing through the back of her throat. "Whoops, my hand must have slipped." Alexis laughed as she gouged out both of her mother's eyes. Pulling out both skewers, Alexis changed back to normal. "M-mom? Oh my god... I'm sorry, I'm so sorry..." Alexis said, silent tears streaming down her face as she spoke. Alexis didn't know what to do, so she picked up a skewer and carved into her mother's chest two simple words "I'm sorry". After this, Alexis lay her mother down on the couch, and put Gravity Falls on the TV. Touching her mother's face one last time, Alexis ran out the back door and into the woods.
