Beautiful blondes, ocean blue eyes, skin as white as snow and face innocent as child. Moon Diaz Grasso looks like an angel.
No wonder she'll take us all to the heaven by killing us-
"You and who what?!" Moon's shout echoed in the living room, her eyes widen with the surprise and hand raised to her heart. The moment her hand raised, Dark and Mr. Grasso took a step back as if she's going to eat them alive-
Well,
"Me and Miss Berenguer, we're getting married." Mr. Grasso took another step back repeated himself. Dark was standing right behind her back but looks like he wouldn't, rather can't help his brother when it comes to Moon.
Both of them are over six feet two, broad shoulders, hands full of strength and look like a rigid mountains. Opposite to them, stood a tiny woman. Five feet two or three, skinny and delicate as a flower. And those mountains are afraid of the flower.
"For a year..." I sighed, taking a step backward and revealing the entire truth. I don't want to keep Moon in misunderstanding. She might hope something that isn't there. It is better I clear everything before signing the Faustian bargain.
"A year?" Bafflement spread over Moon's pale face and her light brown brows scrunched in a V shape. Mr. Grasso and Dark glimpsed at each other and they both glared at me later.
I thought Mr. Grasso was going to take care of everything-
Hm, men.
"Mr. Grasso and I will be married for a year." I avowed, taking another step closer to Moon and making her sit on the couch. The stress isn't good for the little one growing in her stomach. "As a pretend."
Moon paused. Hundred of questions spread over her face when she glimpsed at me and then at Mr. Grasso. Her sparkly blue eyes blinking fast, our hearts pounding faster.
One minute silence.
Two minutes silence.
Three minutes silence.
"You and Light?" After three minutes of deadly silence, Moon finally spoke. Her brows still scrunched and face still confused.
"Yes." I nod, looking in her eyes. "It's a beneficial deal between me and him, nothing else." Mr. Grasso's eyes stabled on me instead of Moon when I pressed my words. "We'll be married for the world, just for a year."
"Lilith..." Moon's eyes relaxed but worry appeared in her eyes. When we first saw each other, we hated each other. I thought she was over-dramatic, she thought I was rude. And look at us now-
"Mr. Grasso is offering me a fair deal where my title, rights and reputation will be protected." Am I truly ready to get involved in such a deal?
"Lilith, it's a marriage and not a relationship." Moon glared at me and then gawked at the two mountains standing in front of us. "You'll have to announce yourself to the world and you're already dealing with bunch of troubles..."
