𝙖𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨

𝙖𝙪𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙝

today was the day of the heartstopper auditions.

alaina was peacefully driving herself to where the auditions were held. unfortunatly, kimberly wasn't able to make it due to some work she had to catch up on.

to be honest, before setting off alaina was contemplating wheather or not she should should go. but in the end, she gave into her dreams and had set off.

the drive there was quite calming. alaina had set up the aux so she could listen to some of her favourite songs to ease the tension. for a few moments, it actually worked. that was until her mind began overflowing with negative thoughts again.

* what if im not good enough? *
* what if i fail? *
* am i too awkward for this? *
* what if i embarass myself? *

eventually, alaina had snapped back into reality as she realised she'd be arriving in just under a minuite.

she took some deep breathes before making her way into the performing hall.

the rooms were vary large but minimalistic. every area was crowded with unfamiler faces.

as alaina was gazing around the modern building, she swiftly made eye contact with a tall, muscular boy. in some odd way, this brought butterflies to her stomach.

that was until she felt a light tap on her shoulder.

alaina quickly turned around to see a familiar blonde haired girl standing in front of her.

"kimbebly!" said alaina shockingly.

"supriseee!" squealed kim.

"what are you doing here?" alaina asked.

"here to support you of course!" giggled kimberly.

after about thirty minutes, the speaker went off once again. "𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙤𝙬𝙨 𝙪𝙥 𝙣𝙚𝙭𝙩, 𝙞 𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙤𝙬𝙨 𝙪𝙥 𝙣𝙚𝙭𝙩!"

*gulp*

alaina shot up from her chair walking nervousley into the room wich held the auditions. her bestfriend following frantically behind.

as alaina walked onto the stage, she could feel her anxeity quickly taking over. from the corner of her eye, she saw kimberly giving her a reassuring smile.

suddenly, alaina began to feel a tight pain in her chest, her body began to shake as her head overflowed with thoughts.

"im sorry!" she cried whilst running off stage.

as she made her way out of the room, she could hear loud footsteps behind her.

"what the fuck alaina!?" snapped kim.

"wha-" she said in response.

"i ditch a VERY important project that could affect MY future just to see YOU audition, only for you too run away!?" kim hollered in disbelif.

"i never asked you to come!" beamed alaina as her eyes filled with tears.

"you didn't have too because that's what friends do!" blurted kimberly as she stormed out the room.

alaina sprinted into an empty room. unkowingly, she was also dropping some her belongings.

"miss .... miss!"
an unfamiliar voice called.

quickly, alaina turned around to see the trail of mess she had dropped behind her. the same tall, muscular boy from earlier was carefully collecting her items.

"here you go" he said with a light smile whilst passing them to her.

"oh! thankyou" she anwsered in embarassment.

"are you okay?" asked the boy noticing the sadness in her eyes.

alaina then began to explain how she'd been practasing for the role of 𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙖 𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙩𝙤𝙣 in heartstopper for ages but had just completely ruined her chances.

she later found out that the boy was auditioning for 𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙨 𝙣𝙚𝙡𝙨𝙤𝙣. and his name was 𝙠𝙞𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙧.

this all calmed alaina down.

luckily, kit had managed to persuade the judges to give alaina another shot.

suprisingly, her act had blown the judges away. icluding kit, who has smiling proudly in the corner.

alaina had thanked him before they parted ways.
