"Lemme get this one chip right hea'." Mili said, taking the sourcream and onion pringle out of Maliki's hand

"No fuckin' way..." Maliki said watching her in disbelief as she crunched down on the chip. Adding salt to the wound by sucking on her finger after.

She leaned back against the couch, sipping on her lemonade. She looked over to see him watching her with a blank expression.

"What?" She asked and Maliki raised his brows as if she was slow.

'After committing such an atrocious act she has the nerve to play dumb?' He thought while slowly putting the cap back onto the container of pringles.

"On my grandma left titty imma hit you dead in yo shit" He said to her and she scrunched her face up.

"You sittin' ova' there like a big back bitch eating FOUR large tins of pringles wit' yo' fat ass and you mad that I took ONE CHIP. Check yo' cholesterol levels before you check me boo." She said with a nasty mug and everyone that was sitting around them laughed.

"I know yo' ass ain't laughin' you albino lizard." He said to Tineshe who was laughing the loudest out of everyone. Her laughter immediately stopped and she mugged him as everyone was now laughing at her. Mili was cackling the loudest and Tineshe cut her eyes at her.

"What's so funny huh? Let's talk bout' how if I slid a coin down yo' back it'll hit ya' heel you no ass having whip built bitch." Mili gasped and tucked in her lips as she was stuck trying to figure out what to say to that while everyone else got quiet and just stared at her with wide eyes.

"Well shit..." Marcus said before coughing as he struggled to stop laughing at the shocked expression on Mili's face.

"I fear she ate your ass up boo." Levania said as he walked passed the group of high adults and into the kitchen. He jumped and held his chest when he saw Kash leaned against the island, aimlessly scrolling on his phone.

Ever since they met the first day, Kash had yet to speak to him. Levania wondered if the guy even knew how to talk with how quiet he was. He wondered how he and Hezekiah became friends because his brother was a known extrovert that loved being loud and outgoing but Kash was the complete opposite.

Always wearing a mug on his face as if he was mad at the world. He never spoke. Ever. It was as if he was just there. Just existing.

He intrigued Levania. You would think a man as handsome as him would be so talkative and outgoing but he was the farthest thing. Very reserved from everything. He noticed how Kash never really hung out around the rest of group. Always drifting away to another room by himself or in the farthest possible corner of the room.

Levania decided not to dwell too much on the tall male and made his way over to the pantry. He had been itching to get his hands on some sour gummies since he woke up but Hezekiah always put his candies on the highest shelf because he knew that his little brother was a fiend for candy.

Because he was super short, and the shelf that the candy was on was almost touching the ceiling, he grabbed one of the stools by the island and positioned it right under his target.

He slowly and carefully climbed onto the metal stool before standing on his tippy toes.

'Almost there...' He thought as he stretched for the large bag of TROLLI Gummy Worms. He grabbed a hold of the bag and just leaned back to take it off the shelf when the stool's weight shifted.

He barely had time to react before he went tumbling over, and he immediately tensed his body as he braced himself for the hard fall.

He waited to feel the cold tiles against his slightly exposed skin, but it never came. He opened his eyes, only to then realize that he was being held by none other than than Kash.
