☆ We must escape tonight, friend. Meet me in my room as soon as possible. - Mr. L
I was walking as quickly and as silently as I could over to the door that separated me from Mr. Lollipop and his room. The darkness around me felt so tense as I reached for the door handle. I soon froze as I heard heavy breathing coming from the other side, shooting panic through my mind and prompting me to open the door wide without knocking. My eyes grew upon seeing Mr. Lollipop holding his head and shaking uncontrollably. He flinched at the door moving so suddenly.
"M-Mr. Lollipop!" I yelped, but the man in the blue sweater held up a hand to silence me. He took a deep breath and began to count down just as he did the day before.
"Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five..." every number said I grew even more frightened of what was happening. Finally, he took a long breath out and let go of his head, looking a lot calmer. "Four," once he concluded, Mr. Lollipop turned to me and smiled softly. "My apologies, friend. I did not mean to worry you again."
"That's the second time this has happened dude," I replied, walking over to stand in front of Mr. Lollipop. "You need to tell me what is going on," Mr. L looked at me hesitantly, then sighed and sat down onto his bed that was beside a bookshelf. Come to think of it, there were so many books it almost seemed like walking into a mini-library. Everything in his room was organized, puzzle-like strategy games occupying shelves, sticky notes, and nature posters covering walls. As my eyes wandered, I sat beside Mr. L and waited for his response.
