- FANTASIA -
I cradled Chloe with one arm as I brushed my teeth, trying not to smile with a mouth full of Colgate as I watched her giggle every time toothpaste got all over my mouth. She's the happiest, silliest little baby. My little girl's laugh is music to my ears. If every word I said could make her laugh, I would talk forever. When I was done brushing my teeth, I went through my entire skincare routine using only one hand. I could pretend like I'm working on my multitasking skills, but the truth is that I just don't want to put my baby down. She's spoiled rotten, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I went into my bedroom, carefully laying Chloe down in the middle of my pillows. I put one of my throw pillows behind her back so that she could sit up and look at me. We both have a little bit of separation anxiety with each other, so it's a comfort for us to never be too far away from each other's eyesight. I have no idea how we're going to cope when she starts school , but luckily that bridge won't have to be crossed anytime soon, so we have some time to work on it.
Fantasia: Clover, what should mommy wear to go see Auntie Dani? You can help me pick something out, and I'll help you pick something out. Deal?
I turned away from my French-style closet doors and faced her, earning a gummy smile from her in response. I feel like everything I do makes her smile no matter what. The love that my baby has for me fulfills me so deeply. I can't imagine what my life would look like without her in it. I'm so lucky to have her; that's why I gave her the nickname Clover. I'm strongly tempted to take her with me out to lunch with Danielle, but I need some me-time and I plan on drinking, so it's best that she stays here with Naomi. I know that she's in good hands. The bond that Chloe has with Naomi is a beautiful thing to witness. It's honestly a blessing to have someone in my corner who cares about my daughter's happiness and well-being just as much as I do. Naomi is damn near perfect. I wish that I was ready to give myself and my heart to someone like Naomi.
I went through 3 outfits and Chloe smiled at every single one, so I just chose the one that made her grin the biggest and brightest. I froze in the mirror when I noticed how low my jeans were sitting and that the strings of my thing were peaking out at the front and the back. That wasn't exactly the problem. The problem was that I could see my tattoo. I'm covered in tattoos that all mean something to me, but this tattoo in particular holds a lot of memories within its ink. T.P.H. . The branded initials sit right above my kitty cat on my bikini line. I've been meaning to get it covered up or removed altogether, but I just haven't gotten around to it. I debated changing my pants, but I'm supposed to be meeting Danielle for lunch at 1:30 and it's already 1:10. When I was ready, I took Chloe into her nursery to get her dressed for the day. Naomi was dusting off the shelf with her stuffed animals on it. I didn't think that it was possible for someone to look sexy while dusting, but Naomi is a different breed of female. She's temptation in human form and she's living in my home.
