The farmers plow through their fields, preparing the soil for planting and ensuring a successful harvest. Some flying above the land, sprinkling dust over the seedlings and crops, ensuring no pests disrupt the growth process. Some of them reap crops, putting them into baskets and large bags for their partners to fly off carrying them into storage facilities or markets for distribution. Soon those reaping spread their wings out to fly and begin the planting process once more. Flying over the fields and sprinkle out the seeds to prepare to harvest next year.

Each farmer continues their role in the cycle of planting, growing, and harvesting, all while I silently watch from outside the window of my carriage and take in the peaceful scene with a sense of... everything.

The further the carriage moves along the dirt road, the further the villages are, and even further are the walls to the kingdom. As the sun begins to set, the colors of the sky blend together in a beautiful display, casting a warm glow over the fields. Crickets begin their evening symphony, the nighttime plants start blooming and unfurling their petals, the plants from the blooming glowing the dimmer the light gets.

The cool evening breeze carries the scent of wildflowers and damp earth, creating a tranquil atmosphere as the day transitions into night. The distant sound of laughter and music from the faraway village's festivities adds to the enchanting ambiance of the out lands. The small figures of children flapping their developing wings as they rush home to their mothers and father before going inside. The lights in the distance going out one by one.

"We're growing closer to the Thorn Wall, my princess; the carriage will be moving slower, so it would be best that we rest while we traverse." Vivi 's eyes grew heavy, her lashes fluttering to stay awake.

"It's quite alright, Vivi. I plan on staying up just enough to see what it's like going through and being inside the Thorn Wall. If you're tired, then you may rest; you are not obligated to stay awake with me, you know?" I lightly chuckle as I watch Vivi settle into a comfortable position on the carriage seat, her breathing already deep and steady. The Thorn Wall loomed closer, its dark silhouette growing larger with each passing moment.

I watch as she stubbornly mumbles and grumbles out, "I've never slept before you. It's my duty to make sure your day from morning till night is good, so why would I fall asleep? If you're staying awake to see the Thorn Wall, then so shall I."

I let out a slight scoff at her words, a small smile tugging at my lips as the carriage driver speaks from up front. "Princess, we've reached the black wall. Shall we proceed or rest the night?"

"Tell me what if we were to take either option?" I inquire, waiting to hear the carriage driver's response on the results of either option.

The man clears his throat with a grunt, making an odd mouth sound before answering. "If we were to proceed with the continuation of our journey, we would arrive at the Kingdom of Sunrise on time. If we were to rest the night, we would arrive slightly delayed but well-rested," the carriage driver explains, leaving me to make a decision on whether to prioritize timeliness or comfort.

After silently weighing out the pros and cons of each option, I come to the conclusion that for practicality and punctuality, it would be best to prioritize timeliness and arrive on schedule.
