I thought this place was finally gonna be an enjoyable experience for me. Far far away from all of my troubles in havensgrove - but I was later on known to be wrong. Extremely wrong.

Fucks sake.
If Lor listened to me the first time I told him to dispose the body, we wouldn't be here digging a human sized hole. But here we are.
"Daimen, my arms are screaming for help!" Lorenzo complains for the seventh time now, throwing his hands in the air, making the shovel drop between the soil with a faint 'thud'.
"Your whole body will be screaming for help if you say one more word." I'm already over this shit, "If you listened beforehand and dug the grave with Riley, we would be at the party tonight, not out here getting fucking dirty." He huffs back a reply on how Riley refused to agree, and lazily picks up the shovel again continuing to dig. Classic Riley.
Minutes pass by, and the wind starts to thicken, causing the soft material of the balaclava to stick to my sweaty face. I throw my head back in irritation with a silent grumble, hoping for all of this to end in a blink. "How about you keep digging, and I go get us a drink from the party? Perhaps a hot chick on the side?" Lor's annoying thick accent slices through the dense wind.
"What is this, a menu?" My hands tighten around the shovel in fury. God if anyone knows how to get under my skin, It's him.
"Come on, I've seen you eyeing that pretty chick. or was it the drink behind her?" he continues to tease. pretty chick. My mind immediately runs back to the slender girl, and her deep, coffee brown eyes. She didn't hesitate looking away once during our courageous staring contest back at the party. Not even one blink was shared.
Before I can cut off my foolish thoughts, and strike at Lor for distracting me, I hear a frightened gasp, leaving me with no choice but to snap my head in the direction, alarm ringing my whole body. It's her. Brown eyes.
"Shit!" Lor hisses from my right, before I snap back to reality. Shit indeed.
I drop the shovel quickly, and track towards the nosy girl already sprinting ahead of us. "I fucking predicted it!" I hear Lor scream behind me.
My feet move swiftly through the damp mud, her loud breaths, and the small thumping of her feet ahead of me allowing adrenaline to rake over my body, my hands aching to grab her. Just one touch.
She's fucking fast for someone as tiny as her. She's fleeing, pushing away every tree leaf that gets in her way.
The heavy wind gets interrupted with yet another one of her gasps, this time a wince comes after. She hit her arm with a branch, making something fly across my vision, and on the dirty forest ground. Her steps slowly falter, although, she continues to run. Not once looking back. Good girl.
The party comes into our view, and I slowly panic. Kill her. Protect her. Kill her. Protect her. Before I know it, she runs back to the crowded party, her delicate body mingling between the drunk fouls. I catch her fearful eyes in the swarm, only a few feet away from me. I contemplate going after her in front of all of these people, make her forget everything her doe eyes saw, yet I don't.
