DOUBLE UPDATE!

He never understood how people could be scared of the dark. Since he was a little boy, darkness was his comfort. It held him. When no one else would. Nobody could ever understand. Until her. She understood in a way that was still a mystery. Her mind was twisted and evil. He liked that about her. Nobody could fix her, because she didn't need to be fixed. Age didn't matter. When he was with her nothing did. He can and will do anything to keep Poppy happy. The darkness is full of surprises. Like Poppy is. Poppy reminds him of the darkness. Because she somehow is part of the darkness.
She gives comfort, she is mystery itself. With one word she could break him. Next to her, he was vulnerable. He was worthless. He knew he had to keep dignity. He was lucky. So many had been sent to war. But him. He was scared he had to leave her. He would rather die in her hands then die in war. He wanted her to be true last thing she could ever see.

How could someone be so dependent over another person? Everything inside him burned at her thought. His heartbeat got faster and he couldn't think straight. He knew she could ruin him. He knew she would. But the thought of leaving her there. Scared him more than being ruined. His happiest moment was the moment his father left for the army.

Any other kid would be devastated.
But having a father so violent... he couldn't be happier. He didn't miss him. He was happier. He thought in a twisted was that would also bring him closer to Poppy. Since she didn't have a father. He thought his mother would be happier. But she seamed to miss father. She got into an annoying state of depression.

He didn't in fact know the war would soon be over.

He didn't know the fact that his father's life was over too.

So I thought you could have a little bit inside Harry's head. Enjoy. I tried! Dedicated to vonvon4244 thanks for reading, voting and commenting!
