I have a problem. I know I've said in the past that I'm going to keep posting chapters, but not all of them at once since I want to stay consistent. That's the problem-- I'm running out of chapters!!!!
I always want my work to be the best it can be, and if you look at some of my earlier chapters you can see that they're a bit... amateurish (in my eyes at least), and editing and writing and posting and repeating that cycle is tiring, and since this is also a book I plan on publishing, everything needs to be perfect. And I want to get as close to that goal of "perfection" as possible, which takes time and effort. A lot of time and a lot of effort.
So I'm posting chapter fifteen, then taking some time off to cook up some more chapters, but with some of the other projects I plan on doing and working on currently that are already out and constantly being updated as soon as possible, you won't miss out on all the lore and darkness and chaos that is the Almost Detective's universe and story.
And after I have enough chapters ready, you all get the update of the century! Five chapters at LEAST on everything I've published!
Also with this update, I'll add music, older chapters fixed and polished, and yes... a trigger warning. I'M SO SORRY I DIDN'T ADD IT SOONER! I DIDN'T EXPECT THIS STORY TO GET AS DARK BUT I HAD A WHOLE OTHER PLAN FOR IT AT THE TIME AND I JUST-... I AM SORRY!!! It's not as dark as you think (* cough cough* Haunting Adeline *cough*), but it can be a bit dark and morally grey as the story goes on, so I will be adding it at the start of the story with next update because the story will almost be done by then. And... it starts to go downhill from here, sooo... yeah. Trigger warning.
But this will take time so expect that update by late November to December. Bye everysoul!
