I wake up a little too early to the smell of bacon and coffee. I look around the bedroom for Frank and when I don't see him, I roll out of bed to find him. my first thought, Jack must be here but imagine my surprise when I walk into the kitchen to see Frank making eggs, bacon, and toast. I watch him from the doorway as he turns the sizzling bacon over and then add eggs to another pan. The toasted bread pops up and he rushes to get it and put them on a plate.

Its been a while since ive seen him do anything like this. he goes back to scrambling the eggs and the bacon begins to pop. He jumps back yelping, rubbing his arm and I laugh softly, trying not to call attention to myself.

He hears me and turns. His eyes grazes over me like a feather, from my face, down to my legs and then up again. he smiles and says, "good morning."

I clear my throat, "good morning."

He's still staring at me, when the flames start to rise, taking on a life of its own. I rush over to the stove and turn it off. I take the spatula out of his hand and scoop the bacon out. he chuckles and runs his fingers through his hair, "I was trying to surprise you with breakfast."

I scoop the eggs out and say, "what brought on this change?"

"I told you." he take the spatula out of my hand and places it on the stove. "I want this to be a new start for us." he leans in and kisses me gently on the lips.

"you meant it..." I ask skeptically.

"I know I haven't been the best husband, but I want to change that. let me show you I can be better." He gestures towards the burnt bacon and eggs. "I decided I would start with breakfast in bed."

I move to stand in front of him and wrap my arms around him. he leans down and I stand on my tip toes to kiss him, but he pulls back in a teasing way. I try to hop, and he pulls back again, laughing at my failed attempts to show my appreciation. Finally he leans down and captures my lips in soft kiss that causes my knees to buckle and my heart to flutter. His tongue caresses my own and I moan softly.

I grab on to his waist squeezing him and pulling him tighter to me. when his phone goes off. he breaks the kiss and looks at it as I sigh and rest my head on his chest. I can hear him texting back a quick text, then set the phone face down on the counter before wrapping me up in his arms again.

I smile up at him and he studies my face intently. After a moment I say "what?"

He smirks, "you're beautiful, you know that?"

I stare into his eyes dreamily, unable to fathom how much I love him. he kisses the tip of my nose and I groan as I hide my face in his chest. I lose myself for a second as I inhale his sweet scent with a hint of cigarettes. My hands slip under his shirt and my finger traces the outline of his chest and stomach. He moans softly and the sounds urges me forward.

I lift my head up and he kisses me again as he runs his fingers through my hair. I rest one hand on his growing cock, and he pushes into it. his phone goes off again and I grip his stiff erection and say, "leave it."

But he doesn't, he lifts his phone, holding it above my head, takes a second to read it and then replies quickly. The moment he set the phone down, it goes off again with another reply. Frustrated, I reach for the phone, but frank is a little faster than I am. he scoops it up and says, "its my friend from up north, he just wants to know if I'm still coming up to visit." I watch as he walks into the living room and read the message then reply.

"a friend from up north?" I fold my arms across my chest as I glare at him. I don't have a reason to doubt him. he has never cheated on me or gave me reason to think that he would, until now. Last night, the woman in the gold dress.
