Part twenty: snake shed skin, they dont change them

Ash listened as the door jingled, his gaze leaving Miguel smile. Who he'd been talking with well they stretched after practice. Ash feeling his face start to pale. Bike slowly rising up, his eyes locking with krease. The man looks like a snake, as he scans the room.

Behind him are familiar faces, two people ash hadn't properly seen in ages. The boy completely ignoring krease as he shoves past him. Pulling the boy who stood behind him, ash feeling arms around him carefully. Kingstons smile is bright as ash hugs him, carefully letting go of the blonde. Watching ash carefully pull Khalani into a hug.

"You stink" she says her nose scrunching as she shoves ash off of her. Causing him to roll his eyes looking between the siblings. They'd both changed since the last time he'd seen them. Kingston no longer had a baby face, he'd completely grown into himself. His face sharp, his five o clock shadow showing slightly.

Beside him Khalani stood she looked completely different. The last time he'd seen her she'd been a brunette little girl. Her hair was now bleached blonde. Her eyes weren't as bright some of there light had faded. Like the rest of them, they were now lifeless and scared.

"I didn't know you guys were here" ash says with a small smile. Seeing the door open once again blaze and Thomas making their way in carefully.

"Lawrence where is your father" krease asks making ash look him up and down carefully.

"He's in his office I'll show you." Ash says before he's moving past the crowd of students. Who are staring at the strangers Miguel raising his eye brows at ash. Who only shakes his head In response making his way. To the back office with krease ash walking in carefully catching Johnnys eyes. The man jaw clenched once he spotted the visitor behind him.

"What the hell are you doing here" Johnny says a hand is suddenly on Asha's arm. Johnny pulling him carefully behind him. Putting himself between krease and his son.

"Very sweet Johnny I'm not here for a fight, I'm here to offer you an empire."

"What the hell could you offer me that I'd want" Johnny says. With a shake of his head carefully making his way to the office door.

"Class dismissed go home" he yells watching the students scatter like bugs. Rushing towards the front door. Before turning his attention back into the room. "You were saying"

"I think he should wait outside" krease says looking at ash carefully.

"I think I'll wait right here unless you're gonna make me move. Than your gonna see just how well you taught me." Ash snaps, feeling how his heart races under his gi. Wondering why John krease was here. How he'd roped in blaze and Thomas, and what the hell he needed from Johnny. It was always a bigger picture with him never cut and dry.

"Fine I'm here, because I want in I wanna teach these students. You brought cobra Kai from the dead and I want to help. I want it to be bigger than it ever has been. Blaze, Thomas, Kingston and Khalani have all offered to join. If I'm a sensei along side you, there good fighters. An now that larusso is starting up his own dojo you'll need them." Krease finishes carefully eyes locked on Johnnys.

"No dice, I'm not interested in teaching like you did. You taught kids to fear you my students don't fear me. They respect me I'm not gonna be like you." Johnny says without any falter. He couldn't falter krease would sense it and eat him alive if he did. He'd fine
The weakness in Johnny and exploit it like he always done.

"I'll follow your lead, I won't step out of line and if you decide I'm unfit I'll walk. An I'll encourage them to stay without me." Krease says, he remains cool on the surface. But ash sees how he's grasping at straws. Ash is carefully stepping out of the office.
