Next Day
I woke up at 8:00 a.m., groggy but determined to start the day on time. As usual, I picked up my phone and opened Instagram to scroll for a few peaceful minutes before the office chaos began. Just then, a notification popped up on WhatsApp. It was from an unknown number. Curious, I opened it.
Unknown Number: Hello, Jaan Ishir This Side Reach office at 8:00
I blinked, staring at the message in disbelief. Of course, it was from him. No "Good Morning," No context—just that cold, direct instruction. I looked at the clock. 8:00? He wanted me in the office... now?
With a sigh, I got out of bed, suddenly feeling both flustered and annoyed. Typical Ishir—already making demands before I even had a chance to start my day. I quickly typed back, trying to keep my reply respectful but also hoping he'd understand that this was a bit much.
Me: But sir, my time is 10:00...
A few seconds later, those dreaded typing dots appeared.
Ishir :- From Onwards your time will be from 08:00
I stared at the message, half-tempted to roll my eyes, but also feeling a little flutter of nervousness. Great, I thought, he wouldn't let me forget the whole "PA" thing anytime soon.
Me :- Sir What would be then ?? 8:00 to ?
Ishir - 08:00 to not decided yet, whenever I want you to go
I stared at my phone, my eyes widening as I read his last message. Was he serious? The audacity of this man!
Me:But...sir, that's not how office hours work.
After a moment, his reply came through.
Ishir:As your boss, I have decided on your job description, Jaan. Now stop stalling and get to work.
I took a deep breath, mentally preparing myself. I knew this job would be intense, but this man was clearly on another level. Fine, I thought, if he wants dedication, he'll get it—but he will regret it if he thinks he can just push me around.
