Paiges pov

I arrive carrying a couple bags not much since my house isn't too far, just some basic necessities, tooth brush, hair brush, shampoo plus conditioner, body wash, towels, changes of clothes, toothpaste, pillow, blanket and a gift for Robin as a thank you for letting me stay.

It's a brown orange and yellow shawl I made a while ago but it seemed to fit her vibe perfectly so I thought she would like it.

I haven't gotten to see much of Demetrius or Maru so I don't really know what I should bring for them.

Tomorrow is my day to head to the mines so maybe I'll grab them some gems or something. I also wonder room I'll be staying in, I'll offer to sleep on the couch so I don't bother anyone.

I step into robins house the smell of cedar and resin sting my nose instantly. "Welcome back Paige, I am just about done with dinner could you go get Sebby for me?"

Robin calls from the other room "yes ma'am I will, where should I set my stuff?" I call back "go ahead a drop them off in his room since you are already heading down there, I won't make you carry them up and down the stairs".

I nod to myself as I head down the creaky basement stairs. I knock first and wait for a response because we aren't close enough for me to just walk in that would be rude.

"I'm working mom go away". He grumbles "it's me Paige, Sebastian". I can't hear him shuffle around some stuff quickly before the door swings open.

"Oh, sorry about that" he hangs his head as he steps aside to let me inside. "Don't worry it's ok, your job is very important".

I smile as I elbow him in the chest softly. "Your mom told me to come and get you for dinner". I set my stuff down on the couch in his room hoping he wouldn't ask me about it.

"Ok, are you leaving after?" He has a soft frown and sad eyes "I told you ill tell you later "I give him a hug which he Reciprocates holding me a little tighter than I expected

"ok" we both let go and head up the stairs. When I walk into the room I see Maru and Demetrius already sitting down chatting about whatever experiment they were working on that day while Robin finishes setting the food on the table.

"I made a roast today I hope you are hungry". My mouth waters instantly "i absolutely love roast, I'm so excited".

I sit down across from Maru and Sebastian sits next to me. "Mom makes a really good roast". He says while staring down at the table not making eye contact.

Robin sits across from Sebastian and next to Maru. "How was your day at the clinic Maru?" Robin looks at her daughter "it was a nice day very relaxed".

Demetrius smile "I'm proud of you honey" he gives me a weird look before continuing to eat. "I look at Robin and she looks at me

"so everyone Paige is getting quite a few renovations done in her farm, so she isn't going to be able to stay on her farm for a good while".

Both maru and Sebastian look a little sad which Marus reaction confuses me since we only talk every once in a while but I guess you could say we are friends.

"Demetrius and I talked and decided she was going to stay here until it's done". Robin and her husband smile while looking at me. I smile and look at Sebastian whose eyes are wide

"wait where is she going to stay we don't have an extra room?" Maru asks confused while pointing her thumb at the kitchen doorway.

Robin sucks air through her teeth then looks at her kids. "I was going to ask if one of you would be willing to share your room with her, I was more so leaning towards sebby since he has a couch in his room but it's really up to you guys since it's your rooms".
