Once, they were two sparks across the miles,
Bound by laughter, late-night smiles.
Under distant stars, they'd dream,
Whispered promises, a silver seam. But love from afar grew sharp and frayed,
Both broke the other, cracked and scarred,
Hearts once open now barred. She's moved on, her hearts at peace.
Found a love that feels like ease.
Her laugh belongs to someone new,
Her future bright, her skies clear blue. But he's still lost beneath the stars,
Chasing echoes from afar.
He tries to let her memory fade,
Yet finds himself in shadows laid. Each night he wonders, holds his breath,
Waits for signs in starlit depths—
That someday paths might realign,
Two worn-out souls, one last time. For now, they drift, like stars alone,
Lovers once, now merely known.
Bound by nights, they can't erase,
Ghosts of love in endless space.
