Chapter 19

Harry pov

A few hours had passed since our introduction, and I we have been talking ever since. We talked about everything that happened until now, and we were even joined by the other paintings.

Eventually, we moved to the sitting room so that every person in a painting could join as well. It was fun to meet all the people of my family.

Although they had been very angry when they heard about my life. It was safe to say that if they were alive, Dumbledore would be dead.

They had,of course, thanked Alaric and Sirius for being there for me. And you should have seen the surprise on their faces once they were informed about the titles I had. They were shocked once they realised that I was the first heir to the imperial throne of  Japan, even if it still has to be recognised.

Now we were back in Alaric's Manor. We would be staying there until we were 17 because that were the rules. We had to stay in our Guardians house. But we would go to Potter Manor any day we could.

And then there were the girls. Everyone in the family liked them, which I am happy about. I had been worried they wouldn't like them, but as I found out, were the Potters not as racistis as the others in Britain. Even a hundred years ago, there were their Lords and ladies of the house that were werewolves by example. And not werewolves like Sapphire, but like Remus Lupin.

Mom and dad hadn't been happy when they heard about Lupin. Neither had my grandparents. They had all known him, of course, but they were angry when they heard about how he just abandoned me.

Now we were sitting in our room in Alaric's Manor, preparing for the next day. Tomorrow, I will go to meet the Empress. The meeting itself will only be the 2 of us, but the letter also said that she wanted to meet the girls.

I prepared myself for bed and slipped under the covers. Soon after that, the girls also slipped under the covers. I feel some of their heads being placed on my chest, and soon after that, I fall asleep.

The next morning.

When I woke up, I slipped out of bed without waking up the girls. Then, I took a quick shower before putting on my best clothes.

Then I leave the room to eat some breakfast. I was early. We were supposed to be at the palace at 10, and it was only 7. I silently ate my breakfast, and around 8, I was joined by everyone else.

And then it was time to leave. I was dressed in my best Kimono, and so were the girls. We were told to shadow travel to a point in front of the palace, from where we would be  allowed to enter the palace.

We appeared in front of the huge wall that surrounded the palace. Imidiatly I noticed the guards that had looked at us the moment we appeared.

A group of guards appeared from a small house in front of the wall, which is probably their quarters. They unsheathed their katana's as they uproach, but we just keep silent.

The group stops in front of us, and their leader takes a step forward. "Are you Harry Potter?" I nod and show him the Potter ring. The man nods at seeing it. "Very well, please follow me. The Empress is waiting for you."

We followed him, and when we passed the walls, I smiled at the beautiful palace. I could see why a palace like this was the imperial palace. I knew that this palace would once be mine, but I could use the Potter Manor as a private complex.

We entered the palace, and the girls were escorted to a sitting room by one of the maids. The guard continued to escort me and stopped in front of a huge door, decorated with golden animals and stories about legends. There were 2 more guards by this door.
