Crushing on Calum Hood

Chapter 1

"Do I have to go?" I pouted as my parents pulled up to the drive way of my new school.

I absolutely hated the fact that my parents decided to put me in a private school away from all of my friends.

I knew nobody, and to top that all off I was a freshman. Yes. A freaking freshman.

I finally gave in & grabbed my bag from the seat beside me.

"Fine. I guess it won't be that bad." I opened the door to our family car & got off.

You could already see people in their own social groups. UGH.

"Have a good first day honey!" My mum called out the window as her & my dad drove off the school grounds.

"Shit. I guess it's just my phone & I." I looked at the time. It was 7:45 & school didn't start for another 15 minutes.

I walked up the side walk and in through the big double doors of our academy.

It smelled like some type of wood cleaner and sanitizer.

I made my way through the halls looking for the office. The school was very fancy and I had tooken an online tour of the school before I came here.

You would think the office was some where right by the main doors. But it wasn't.

"You look kind of lost. Can I help you?" I heard a deep voice ask.

I turned on my heels to find a cute boy with brown eyes, dark hair with blonde in it, and nice arms.

For a moment I stood in absolute awe. Then I spoke up. "Um.. actually I just need to find the office so I can pick up a copy of my schedule."

He gave me a cute little smile and said "I'll show you where it is."

I followed his lead in awkward silence down the hall. The school was so quiet you could hear a pen drop.

"By the way my name is Calum Hood." He said extended his right hand out. "Pleasure to meet you."

"My name is Ciindiie. Pleasure meeting you too."

"Are you new here? I dont think I recall seeing you before."

"I actually just moved school's. But I'm also a freshman."

He chuckled and gave me another one of those cute smiles.

"Here we are." He said opening a wooden door for me. I walked towards what looked like the front desk.

"Good morning. I'm here because I'm a new student who just enrolled a few weeks ago and I need a copy of my schedule."

"Sure. what's your name?" The nice lady at the front desk asked.

"Ciindiie Donohugh."

She began typing & clicking around. Then she gave me two copies of my schedules and a handbook with a map.

"Here you go. Have a great first day." She said smiling.

I took the papers and said thank you.

I walked out of the office and began examining my schedule.

"Can I help you find your classes?" Calum asked taking a copy of my schedule.

"Sure." I said smiling at him. I follows him once more as he led me up the stairs.

"All your classes will be in this hall except for you science and Athletic class. Any questions?" He said and all I could see was how beautiful his smile was.

I woke up from the little day dream I was having by the loud ring of the bell.

"I guess that means it's time for class." I said.

"Yeah, I'll see you after 2nd period? How about you meet me here at the stair well at 10:20?" He said.

I could feel myself blushing. "See you then!" I said waving goodbye as he dissapeard into the hall.

I made my way to first period which was math class. I absolutely hated anything and everything that had to do with math.

When I walked into class I introduced myself to my teacher and found a desk closer to the window.

First days are always so boring because they go through all these policies and procedures we already know about and it's kind of just pointless.

Everyone here looked like they could be millionaires of some sort.

I didn't bother talking to anyone either. So I stayed in my seat and got on Twitter after the teacher was done talking while everyone else chartered in the back ground.

I sighed and looked at my watch. 9:14.. *RIIINGGGGG* I got all my stuff together and made my way out to the hallway in search of my next class.

2nd period wasn't so bad. I loved photography and this class was absolutely perfect. I also met a friend named Jennie. She was tall and thin very nice. She even asked me if I wanted to have lunch with her.

After class we both walked towards the stairs and Calum was already waiting.

"See you!" She said walking away from us.

"Hey there. how's it going so far?" He asked taking my binder from me.

I began walking and talking down the stairs. He was so sweet.
I'm glad I was making friend on my first day here. I was going for science and apparently Calum was in my class because I took advanced classes.

We entered the science building and found our class room. We walked into the room and sat at one of the lab tables.

I sat there in awkward silence. Then the bell rang and class Began.

After a few classes the lunch bell rang and met Jennie in the restroom.

After lunch everything else went by so slow. Then finally the bell rang. I was so ready to go home. I was making my way out to the front when I felt someone touch my hand.

I turned and saw calum standing there once again with his amazing smile.

"Headed home?" He asked.

"Yeah. And you?"

"Prob going to meet up with the guys and practice."

"Sounds cool!" I said sliding my foot in front of me.

"Listen.." he said grabbing one of my hands into his hands. "I just think you're really pretty and I'm glad you were lost this morning."

His hands were so soft and his eyes were making me melt. He was just so attractive. But it was just something about him that made it all seem so fake.

"I have to go.." I said holding my binder closer to my chest and walking away..
