Henry stared at the man with wide eyes as his suitcase lid came crashing down.
"Percy, you're being hysterical," Henry muttered.
Percy swooped around, his eyes wide, furiously. His face had been cleaned up a little from the blood, but he'd refused for the maids to properly clean and cauterise each wound, so his face was blotched and swollen.
"'Hysterical'?" Percy uttered, furiously," You think I'm being hysterical? You are the ones who seem to refuse to listen!"
Henry watched, lost for words as Percy swooped back around and furiously heaved his luggage into his arms.
"At least let the maids deal with those nasty cuts there, Percy."
"Do not presume touch me!" Percy hissed, thrusting his suitcase firmly at Henry's chest so the Lord stumbled back from the force," This house has already done quite enough damage in one day, and I wish to not be touched by it ever again!"
Henry crossed his arms, trying not to get angry at Percy's forceful nature.
"Was it Leora?" Henry uttered," I can talk to her, whatever. Don't you see? We need you!"
"You, Lord Henry, may need me, but let me make this positively clear to you," Percy uttered, his voice low," I do not need you. In fact, once recovered, I will be off to teach another student. Miss Leora is now the least of my concern. In fact, this whole house is the least of my concern! I hope I never enter here again!"Henry furrowed his eyebrows," What of our agreement, Percy? Our relationship? You aren't seriously telling me it's over?"
"Oh it's over," Percy scoffed," One hundred percent, absolutely over!"
Percy stormed out of the room into the corridor, growling like some unkept dog. Henry stared in shock, before glancing at the two maids who had been tending to Percy Hughes' wounds. They looked at him with a similar expression, bowing their heads meekly. Henry grunted in frustration, furiously chasing after Percy. Luckily, the tutor's luggage was so heavy that it took him double the effort with each step; he was completely slowed.
"Tell me what happened, Percy," Henry frowned, gravely.
"That repulsive child happened!" Percy roared," A demon I tell you!"
Henry glanced furiously at the floor, uttering a foul string of curses; followed by his sister's name. As Henry and Percy bickered back and forth, whilst storming down the grand staircase; Leora and Jiu were walking. Jiu had noticed how quiet she was and decided to try to walk with her to take her mind off things, and hopefully talk. Both were surprised to see Percy storming down furiously in such a dishevelled state; all the while Henry hurled demands for the truth.
"Leora!" Henry roared, finally spotting her," What in heavens name did you do to poor Mister Hughes!?"Leora blinked in shock, her eyes wide at the sight. It had only been about half an hour since she'd seen Percy, yet he had no trace of blood covering his face then. Yet now, it marred his features prominently like he was one of Picasso's abstract portraits.
"Leora didn't do that!" Jiu yelled, defensively; already blocking the girl.
Percy spun around to face Henry, furiously, his anger hardly contained," You absolute fool! Not that child! The other one you have in your manor!"
Henry startled back, eyebrows raised," Sorry?"
"THE CHILD, MOHAN!"
Henry glanced away, darkly," 'Child'?"
Percy let out another loud groan of frustration, clutching his face in his hands as if he was about to tear off the remainder of his skin.
"This is evidence that my business is better off elsewhere," Percy hissed, almost violently," If you cannot even hope to know your own estate and the tenants within your walls, considering the danger they pose, this is no place for me."
Henry regarded Percy with a dark stare, ruminating over something; his hands curled to his sides.
"I believe I made it clear I am not the Head of this house," Henry grumbled, lowly.
"You have," Percy scoffed," You made that quite blatant, Henry. Both you and the Head of this manor are just as..."
He groped the air, struggling to find the words, as if hoping they would materialize out of thin air.
"...hopeless!"Henry clenched his teeth together.
"Good day!" Percy huffed, furiously snatching his bags and making for the door.
Henry did not stop him, nor did he look up from the spot on the floor he'd been furiously seething at. Percy stormed past Jiu and Leora, giving them an equally angry look. Leora glanced away, nervously, whereas Jiu met Percy's look with his very own determined glare. It was only Edward, who had been at the door since hearing the commotion, who looked uncertain what to do as the furious ex-tutor stormed over.
"Out of my way, indecent butler!" Percy hissed.
Edward frowned, concerned," Mister Hughes, I-"
"Let him go, Edward," Henry grumbled.
The Lord finally looked up, his face set like stone as Percy glanced over his shoulder to glare at him.
"He is free of this manor."
Edward nodded, meekly; opening the door and bowing his head as the tutor stormed out without another word. Jiu watched, his gaze conflicted. He watched as Percy stormed for the carriage; sliding in and barking orders at the coachman. Percy only looked at the manor from his window once the carriage had started moving; his expression set into that of anger and regret, slightly marred by the tinges of fear, that creased his brow. Edward shut the door, firmly.Henry let out a long sigh, rubbing his temples in much frustration. Leora did not say a word, staring blankly at the floor.
Jiu glanced up at the Lord," He said a boy hurt him, Henry. Who is the boy?"
Henry bit his lip," I do not know. Perhaps a servant? He did not say."
Henry let out a low growl of frustration, before furiously kicking a table closest to him.
"That bastard!"
Edward hurried over, immediately re-organising said table. Henry heaved with anger for a moment, before regarding his sister with a stern glare.
"Don't think you are off the hook, Leora," Henry uttered, as the girl avoided his gaze," Mark my words, you will have a new tutor. I will not accept you fooling me in front of everyone, do I make myself clear?"
Leora nodded, her tone hushed a low," Yes."
Henry nodded, before storming off; uttering foul curses at the man who had the nerve to call himself Percy Hughes.
Edward glanced at Leora, concerned," You didn't happen to harm Mister Hughes, did you, Leora?"
She shook her head, no deceit in her eyes. Edward sighed with a nod.
"Who do you think the boy was, Edward?" Jiu frowned, gravely.
Edward sighed," That I do not know. 'Boy'. It is a subjective term. Everyone regards what age a boy truly is in different ways. Perhaps it was a servant, I am unsure. None come to mind."
"Whatever it was, it sent him away," Leora sighed, as though relieved; before turning to Jiu," Come. Follow me."
